CAREER SUMMARY
Over 10 years of experience in the inspection field out of that In-service Inspection and shutdown
inspection of Petrochemical unit, platforms with plenty of shut down experience. It includes the
inspection of process piping, utility piping, storage tanks, structures and Lifting appliance, lifting
gears etc. Familiar with international codes- ASME SECTION –I, II-A,B,C,V, VIII, IX, ASME 31.1, ASME
31.3,31.4, AWS D1.1, API 650, API5 5CT, API 5L, API 1104, BS STANDARDS ETC. Inspection of
material such as Duplex, super duplex stainless steel, 300 series stainless steel, low alloy steels etc.
Familiar with welding process like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW. Review and approval of Minor
deviation in Piping drawings. Material inspection such as pipes, fittings and valves. Interpretation of
Radiographs & Painting Inspection Monitor & witness construction field activities such as Fit-up,
visual, NDT Tests (UT, MT) and approval of history sheets. Cleaning, gauging Inspection & Control of
QC documentation Prepare & review of Hydrotest procedures .Witness of all hydro tests
(Hydro/Pneumatic). Working knowledge of the following petroleum process units weld inspection,
QA-QC, Corrosion monitoring and non-destructive testing (NDT), in both construction and in-service
applications, to the oil, gas, onshore/offshore pipeline, oil rig, ship yard and Power Generation
Industries Worldwide. welding inspection, heavy wall and ordinary piping fabrication/erection in
different sizes and materials, Storage Tanks fabrication/Erection, Fabrication of equipments like
Pressure vessels, structural in FPSO Conversion, flange parallelism and other stationary equipments.
Familiar with working at all levels and accustomed to supervisory duties in multinational work
forces at overseas onshore/offshore locations and fully conversant with Welding & NDT Procedures
and Codes applied to the above industries.

PIPING INSPECTION
Prepare documentation method
Review qualified WPS and ITP, acceptance criteria base on client requirement, available
procedure, specification codes, or standard,etc ASME IX, ASME B31.3
Review validation test equipment, inspection method,and AFC drawing (isometric) before
fabrication started,
Witnessed Welder qualification test and recorded ( WQT)
Physically check issued material again to the MDF and cutting list
Check transferred heat number (material traceability) and cutting dimension.
Inspection welding preparation, fit-up (orientation dimension cut length) proper material to be
jointed, qualified welder to be welded, welding process and electrode to be used and recorded,
Monitoring welding parameter again to the approved WPS and filler metal check, interpass
temperature, distortion appearance, inspection and visual inspection on weldment, dimension
of spools, prepare for NDT request as per requirement.
Monitoring welding repairs after tracing NDT defect sketch are given to production
Record completion of weld.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTION
Prepared and reviewed documentation, WPS and ITP acceptance criteria base on client
specification code standard or approved (AWS D1.1) weld map and AFC drawing inspection
material (size, type and condition).
Transfer heat number and full traceability. welding parameter sequences, to minimize
distortion, and drawing client requirement, inspection weld size, prepared NDT methods on
structure joint, maintain all report with approved report form.
Witnessed Welder qualification test and recorded
Inspection welding preparation, fit-up (orientation dimension cut length) proper material to be
