• Provided hardware, software, data backup, user account administration and network support on
Windows (XP, 2003), Solaris and Linux (RHEL 5 and 6) platforms. Responded to and resolved
Help Desk requests.
• Setup Windows 2003 Symantec Backup Exec server with SAS connected Overland tape loader.
• Implemented Linux innovation lab in a Windows 2003 domain. Configured for Windows
authentication. Installed and configured RHEL 6 server and twelve clients. Initiated use of sudo
rules to allow specific users permissions in order to decrease development time. Installed
required patches, applications and development tools. Provided redundancy for Windows
authentication and DNS name resolution.
• Setup and configured four RHEL PCs and license server for Gallium InterMAPhics class
necessary for upcoming contract bid. Completed within short time frame in order to
prevent overlap into next year’s budget. Process involved installation and configuration of 3D
graphics cards, InterMAPhics and many prerequisite packages along with setting multiple
environmental variables to achieve necessary functionality.
• Installed Sun Solaris 9 and RHEL 5 servers to be used to provide Apache Web interface for in-
house baseline tracking of Navy contract. Configured disk mirroring for OS partition. Installed
and
configured Ingres, ClearCase, Forte, along with Apache Web server and required dependencies,
compilers and utilities. Configured for Windows authentication and visibility.
• Installed and configured Windows 2003 servers with RAID 5, ClearCase, Visual Studio and SQL
Server for in-house developed application. Was the main point-of-contact for administrative
hardware and software support of this company wide Naval contract tracking tool.

Basic script to automate evening downloads. Did same for separate download process using
