ENGINEERING MANAGER

equipment failures and mismanagement causing down-time and budget over-runs. Reviewed project proposals to address root cause of
equipment issues, including funding and procedures for accomplishing the goals. Reviewed staffing requirements and allotment of
available resources for various phases of plant projects. Direct plant engineering activities and product launch efforts for new programs.
Specifically monitor, manage and report on new product introductions and results, focused on VA/VE initiatives.

• Manage 24/6 Engineering plant functions and a team of (6) engineers and maintenance manager to support the manufacturing for
KIA seats and door panels

reducing over-time

Promoted to Plant Manager in January 2012, after five years as Assistant Plant Manager, responsible for daily manufacturing priorities,
monthly reporting and analysis vs goals, production strategies, inventory control, finance, human resources, manufacturing, machine
shop / maintenance, engineering, expenditures, quality, security and safety & environmental; all in accordance to budgetary, customers’
requirements and applicable regulations. Managed 310 unionized employees (230 direct) with growth expectation of 15% in 2012 as well

• Assisted with the successful and timely manufacturing plants consolidation in Reynosa Mexico, including Ney York, Kansas,

• Managed entire Engineering Department, Maintenance and Production activities as Assistant Plant Manager, focused on lean
