- IT Security Auditor Intern

3 months internship as part of the requirement to complete the thesis for the BS in Systems Engineering. The project included the

design, development and implementation of a project management application to improve the auditing process of the bank. The

project began with the gap and needs analysis of the audit process. Following the analysis was the integration of the COBIT 4.1

framework specification for the design of the application. This helped managers bridge the gap between control requirements,

technical issues and business risks. The next step included the development of a SQL-based relational database and the PHP,

AJAX and HTML 5 based front-end application. After the development phase, came the quality assurance phase where a series of

unit tests were designed and performed. After successful completion of the quality assurance phase, the application was rolled-

out to the entire organization. This included end users training.
