Working as Drilling Supervisor for Apache Corp Permian region. Horizontal
well drilling. Including shallow TVD horizontal wells. Previously worked
for Apache Corp World Wide New Venture Drilling exploratory drilling of oil
and gas wells. Drilled extended reach horizontal in Kansas while
underbalanced using Geo pilot, MWD, PWD, HCIM and drill doc tools! Run anti
stall tools and vibrations testing tools. Maintaining constant
communication with Geologist while geo steering. Drilled exploratory wells
in Montana and run coring tools without any non productive time! Working to
set up new ventures and establish vendors and suppliers to perform remote
drilling operations from spud to completion. Maintain relations with oil
and gas boards and report as needed. Manage operations of drilling and rig
performance. Improve and streamline performance for cost effective
drilling. Trouble shoot down hole and deal with routine aspects of drilling
from surface, cement to end of well casing run. Then turn over to
completions and continue to assist with frac preparations and production.
Strong assets include organization and efficiency, and reporting. Have a
strong background in safety and push for zero incidents or injuries.

October 2007 to September 2012
Operations Manager Kenya base new venture drilling. Prepare and ship rigs
international and comply with customs difficulties, Import and export rules
and regulations and maintain time line for spud. Exploratory drilling from
36 hole to 8 hole sizes with rapidly increasing pores pressures with no
well control issues using precautions and good drilling practices. Wells
were drilled in Turkana lands of Kenya while maintain local relations and
utilizing national labor with zero incidents and excellent safety record.
Remote location project 250 kilometers from Nairobi. Scheduling of rig
materials, critical spare parts, workers, cost control and overall
performance and flights to and from field! Maintaining rig assets in
working order and ensuring accuracy of equipment onsite. Working with local
authorities to ensure operations are in compliance with local laws. Control
of contract and billing rates for services rendered. Ensuring financial
duties for contract versus equipment to prevent any lost revenue, Tubular
cost tracking and maintenance, rebilling of services, rebilling of non
contract equipment and rentals. Reviewing and adjusting for quarterly
budgets. Recruiting and training of workers required to perform operations.
KPI tracking to improve overall performance! NPT tracking and corrective
action to increase net profit for operations!
Rig Superintendant in Char Kajal, Bangladesh. 2000hp rig, drilling for
Chevron Energy, Job duties consist of crew management. Leading safety
meeting, stop work authority, safety audits, preventive maintenance
scheduling, writing and reviewing procedures, Cost control and managing
time lines set by customer. NPT tracking and maintaining KPI's to steadily
improve overall rig performance. Other tasks are materials procurement for
rig, maintaining customer client contract obligations.
Previously working as Sr. Tool Pusher, work over and completion! Working on
1500 and 2000 HP ac Unico drive, cyber chair rig.
Job operations in Hassi Massaoud field Algeria Africa include de
completion, work over, and side track in new formation. Most tasks listed I
have become very efficient in. Such as DST operations, Side tracking for
short radius curves with up to 65 degree dog leg severities and extended
reach horizontals with underbalanced drilling, Milling of liner operations,
numerous fishing jobs, Packers, running casing scrapers, string magnets,
junk baskets, assorted style of mills and various bits, Cementing and
displacing of fluids, DST operations, Running expandable liners and casing
patches, Underbalanced drilling and flow testing, journey management,
writing and reviewing Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Practices,
tubular tracking, inventory control, cost control, high pressure testing of
equipment, work permits, safety drills, rig move scheduling, lift gear
inspections and more.
Daily operations have to be thought out far in advance. Sr. tool pusher is
responsible to maintain contractual obligations for tools and equipment on
rig site, and to follow program provided and allow for substitutions.
Shortage of materials and equipment can lead to down time. Working with
many nationalities to achieve the goal and run our rig with no accidents
and less than 1.8% NPT based on 320 days revenue each year.
Working on today's rigs has given me excellent computer skills working with
Micro soft office and excel. Very efficient in typing and basic computer
knowledge!

doubles. Kelly rigs and some had Varco tds10 top drives on them. Oil base
mud and preset surface of around 3 thousand feet. And total measured depth
of 8 thousand feet open hole horizontal drills.

Shale. Rig was a Ross Hill SCR operated with Hawk jaw iron roughneck.

From 2002 to 2007
Rig Manager on F-06 in North Texas drilling horizontal wells in the Barnett
shale! Experienced with Cyber chair 1700 HP AC drive equipment! Rig
equipment in use was Varco ST-80 iron roughneck, Pragma automated catwalk
system, Rotating mouse holes, Derrick mounted casing stabbing tools, Canrig
500 ton top drive, Hydraulic winches and lift such for BOP, Mast, and Sub
base.
Previous Nabors rigs included Mechanical, Ross Hill SCR electric with
Canrig top drives and Kelly. Some were box on box and other were sling shot
type. I started out as floor man, and then onto derrick man until a
drilling position was available
I had taken a drilling job first of 2003 on a mechanical rig with Nabors
drilling USA. I was promoted to Tool pusher by the first of 2004 on a
diesel electric rig with top drive. In the spring of 2005 I was sent to
Houston to assemble and place and operate the first F-series rig for
Nabors. Rig was placed in the Barnett Shale and a top ten contender for
Devon Energy. Know for safety, minimum down time and low days on the well
with consistent rig moves. This was my first experience with a new build
from paint to in field drilling.

Job description, Blast Hole Drilling Foreman
Started out as driller and soon was drilling fore man over multiple air
drilling rigs in Texas from north to South drilling blast holes for
Aggregate Mines.
Job duties required the organizing of equipment and maintaining time lines
for required jobs. Developing and implementing safety policies and cost
control. Ensuring the employees were trained and complied with OSHA and
MSHA safety regulations. Scheduling of trucks and cranes for equipment
moves!
Drilling practices consisted of high pressure high volume air drilling with
multiple types of down hole hammers and the use of fishing tool when
equipment was lost in the hole. Rig air packages consisted of 1050 CFM at
350 psi constant to run pneumatic tools. Started out as a driller on
multiple types of equipment in 1997 running Ingersoll-Rand, Gardner Denver,
Drill Tech rigs and worked my way up to foreman position in 2000! A total
of 5 years drilling experience which was easily related to the to the oil
rigs!
Steinberger Drilling Company
From 1993 to 1997
Worked position of floor man and then worked as a derrick man. Rig was
stacked out as gas prices fell to an all time low. Drilled turn key work
into the bend conglomerate zones in north Texas. Rigs operated were heavy
double derrick with 500hp draw works. Duplex pumps and worked seven days a
week with no days off. Rig was a basic mechanical with cat heads and
spinning chains. Excellent way to learn hard working ethics and build a
future for the industry!
