A global manufacturer and marketer of non-powered lawn & garden tools,

$500 million annual sales and 1,700 employees.

Director of Quality Management

Directed the corporate Business Management System, Product Liability,

Customs and FTC Compliance, International Supplier Development,

Quality Engineering Management and supervised 4 professionals

including the test laboratory.

. Produced a 47% reduction in the cost of quality by leading

process and product improvements within 9 business unit.

. Reduced product liability risk by 62% through data driven

analysis and product/process improvements.

. Developed 4 suppliers in India for striking tools and 13

suppliers in Asia for lawn & garden tools, traveling 3 to 4

months per year, resulting in reduced cost, timely shipments,

and improved quality.

. Coordinated and coached 8 Asian quality engineers with the

Global Sourcing Office to manage and support supplier

development.

. Standardized and revised 77 test protocols resulting in
