As a Field Supervisor worked in conjunction with the
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on a project called "Teen
Pregnancy Prevention" that dealt with inner city, at-risk youths.
Duties included observing data collectors while in the field
and providing assistance, guidance and feedback. Met deadlines and
increased productivity with strategic planning
including rewards and incentives. Dealt with very concerned and sometimes
irate respondents, parents and caregivers due to the
nature of the study; but by listening attentively, empathizing, and

Worked on many assignments during both the Decennial
and 1999 censuses. After completing extensive trainings
pertaining to the various phases, as an Enumerator successfully
located housing units and conducted interviews with
respondents, and as a Crew Leader Assistant (CLA) directed and guided the
work of eight to sixteen enumerators. Information
needed from respondents was of a highly personal and confidential nature.

being patient and caring.

As a Medical Services Coordinator coordinated all aspects
of medical care for a population of one
hundred or so developmentally disabled adults. Set-up and properly
