BAE (British Aerospace Engineering) Systems (February 2007 to August 2013)
-Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) Field Service Technician/Instructor (Kuwait: Jan 2010 to Present)
Primary Duties:
-Preventive Maintenance Checks and Service (PMCS) on Bradley Fighting Vehicle Heat
Abatement Kit which consisted of inspecting all components of the air conditioning units,
perform diagnostics and troubleshoot any air conditioning units that are not operating properly.
Train new employees on what to inspect and how to troubleshoot the air conditioning units on the
Bradley’s. Input data into the CLS database on vehicles worked on for the week and send out
reports to site and project manager’s. Service included servicing, repairing and diagnostics on
tracks, shocks, suspension, Cummings 600 HP diesel engine, transmission, computer
components, hull and turret. Prepare worksheets and parts forms for the U.S. Army on parts and
maintenance. Inventory and order parts in the warehouse, prepare shipping and receive labels for
parts getting distributed throughout the Middle East. Organize, ship and receive all track vehicle
parts in the warehouse using pallet jacks, overhead crane, mobile crane and 5k/10k forklifts.
-Supervising the modification team on installing the Heat Abatement Kit (HAK) on the Bradley’s
(air condition system). Once the teams were complete with installing the system, I would have to
inspect, charge (used Robinair Machine Cool Tech 700 and 34788), operate, order parts and
troubleshoot any problems that occur.
-Brief and Instruct classes to the U.S. Army about the modifications installed on the Bradley
Fighting Vehicle, how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot each individual unit.
-Member of BAE Systems Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Committee. Attend weekly
safety meetings, brief different sections weekly on safety for the week, report any safety issues,
near misses or accidents to the SHE Committee and Team Leads. Maintain a safe and productive
working environment by conducting appropriate safety, corrective action, updating MSDS
(Material Safety Data Sheets) binders, job hazard, and environmental inspections on a regular
basis. Inform BAE safety committee weekly with any safety issues and near misses within the
workplace.
Additional Duties:
-Preventive Maintenance Checks and Service (PMCS) on M88 Recovery Vehicle which consisted
of inspecting the entire vehicle, checking fluids, hydraulic systems that operated the vehicles
main winch, auxiliary winch and hoist winch, suspension, tracks, diesel engine, transmission and
repair/service any issues found during PMCS. Insure the vehicle and its components are fully
mission capable and pass military quality assurance inspectors.
-Preventive Maintenance Checks and Service (PMCS) on Bull Dozer Vehicles (DV100, D7 and
D9 Bull Dozers). Inspect and perform maintenance on the air condition unit and insure that it is
fully mission capable. Troubleshoot and repair any air condition units that are not up to military
standards.
-Supervise the De-Install modification team on removing the HAK system from the Bradley’s
then inventory the kit, package all parts and store in the warehouse. Prepare data and shipping
labels for each kit. Organize all parts in the warehouse using pallet jacks and 5k/10k forklifts.
-Perform maintenance on company personal vehicles involving air conditioning issues.
-Bradley Fighting Vehicle BUSK I and II Field Service Technician (Iraq: Apr. 2008 to Jan. 2010)
Primary duties:
-Traveling to different camps throughout Iraq installing the following modifications to Bradley
Fighting Vehicles: Armored Commander’s Shield, Bradley Advanced Survivability Seats, Hot
Boxes Restraint System, Automatic Fire Suppression System, Heat Abatement Kit and Rearward
Looking Vision System. Additional duties consisted of filling, refilling and recovering HALON
1301 and HFC-125 Bradley fire extinguisher bottles, completing end of day modification
progress percentages and sending daily report status to site and program managers. Assisted the
Retrograde Team by traveling to different camps to inspect and account for major components on
various military vehicles departing out of country.
-Brief and Instruct classes to the U.S. Army about the modifications installed on the Bradley
Fighting Vehicle, how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot each individual unit.
-Bradley Fighting Vehicle AOA (Add-on Armor) Field Service Technician (Iraq: Feb. 2007 to Apr. 2008)
Primary duties:
-In-process/out-process Bradley’s from the military, off-loading any hazardous ammunitions and
volatile chemicals and preparing the vehicle for armor modification. Inspected the Bradley once
received by the military to see whether we can install the AOA modification on the belly and
sponson side of the vehicle with an induction checklist. Note all deficiencies on the Bradley’s we
receive in the in-processing stage by completing a PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and
Services). With the use of various types of lifting equipment, tools and teamwork, remove the
existing armor (belly and sponson armor) and secure the modified armor on the underbelly and
the driver/passenger sponson side. Also performed minor maintenance to the vehicle as
needed.
First National Bank of Texas (August 2003 to February 2007)
Cash Balancing Operator Clerk Supervisor
Primary duties:
-Balance daily cash on hand for assigned FCBI banking centers. Document, research, resolve, and
prepare necessary reports for all cash count outages and teller outages. Balanced Cash and Teller
Over/Short general ledger accounts using banking software and Microsoft Excel. Prepared
reports using Microsoft Word to update and report teller outages to Banking Managers and Senior
Officers. Reconcile and prepare necessary documentation for the Teller Over/Short general ledger
account. Reconcile US Post Office Contract Stations located on our Fort Hood National Bank
banking centers. Compile, organize, maintain, and destroy, when applicable, retention items for
assigned FCBI banking centers. Complete night deposit, money order, Western Union, and utility
