MINI PROJECT : Done project entitled “study of plc in ccm” at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in my

third semester.

DESCR IPT ION:

Study of plc's in ccm .Studied plc's which deals with the Automation of Mould and

Spray Cooling System for continues casting machine-plc requirement in strand withdrawal,flow

of metal into the mould,mould oscillation rate,spray water cooling system.

MA I N PROJECT :Done project entitled “Accident Identification Using GSM & GPS”

D ESCR IPT ION :

This Project mainly deals with accident alarm system by using GSM and GPS. So, whenever the

vehicle meets with an accident, this system will send the alert message to the concerned person with

position information like latitude and longitude. With this information police and hospital’s can

provide service to the injured person without delay.

The GPS module detects the latitude and longitude of the place where the accident has occurred.

TheGSM module is connected with themicrocontroller through serial port. Using ‘AT ‘commands the

SMS is transferred to the GSM module. The GSM module converts the digitalinformation into

airborne signals. Through GSM network the SMS is transferred to the required Person’s hand phone.
