OBJECTIVE

Use my B-Pressure / Journeyman welding certificate to start a career within this company. I own and operate a

portable welding rig.

Ledcor - Firebag Fort McMurray, transferred to Voyageur.

Working as a B-pressure welder. Other duties also include, pipefitting, structural, instrumentation and electrical

welding. Assisting where needed.

April 2010 DaPaJo Brooks, AB

Construction of drilling rig buildings (mainly mudtanks) using Flux Core, GMAW and SMAW. Completion of

CWB qualifying weld. I have my GMAW and SMAW CWB. I ran a portable welding rig when required, casing

bowls, abandonments and cut and flares...etc.

I relocated to Calgary.

Journeyman Welder

GTAW (TIG) welding.

All stainless and aluminum.

Laid off as a lack of work.. Hello Recession. .

1996-2000 & 2003-2007 Bartman Welding Ltd. Duchess, AB Journeyman Welder

Apprenticeship consisted as welder's helper. Worked labor in the oilfield.

During this time I was manager, operator and supervisor of fieldwork for Brooks Directional Boring, a division

of Bartman Welding. I operated the boring unit with picker. Managed a helper safely and efficiently. No

incidents occurred.

Operation of a welding truck in the oilfield. Capable of welding with stick & mig, cutting (acetylene torch &

plasma), grinding, pipe work, blueprint reading, usage of necessary tools.

2001-2003 Absolute Safety Management Brooks, AB

Office / Relations Manager

Acted as ASM's Health and Safety Program co-coordinator.

Conducted Health & Safety meetings and training courses as needed. Completed the ACSA auditor training.

Maintained accurate and current files on all activities.

Computer reports and paperwork. Current on Excel, all Microsoft programs and some drafting experience.

Marketing products, instructional programs and other client services.

Laid off as lack of work.

EDUCATION

Completed B-Pressure test. Still current to July 2014.
