WELL ROUNDED EXPERIENCE IN:

WORK EXPERIENCE:

PRECISION DRILLING/ROSTEL Calgary

Mechanic/Millwright work (March 22, 2010 – Jan 13, 2014)

Automated Drilling Rigs & Equipment: Top Drives, Power Units, Catwalks, Pipe Handlers, Traveling

Blocks, Crowns, Swivels, Mud Pumps, Right Angle Gear Boxes, Engines & Elect Motor packages etc.

upgrades, and repairs to the various new & used equipment.

Trained Millwrights to rebuild/re-certify top drives, peripheral equipment, traveling blocks, etc

When the New Portable Top Drive was developed, I was requested to look after the Portable Top

Drive manufacturing throughput, building, and assembly of the top drive power unit buildings and

the top drive torque tube rig up parts and parts skids because of my past experience in the field

Supervising the Operation of Top Drives, Drilling Equipment, and Crews.

I Liaised closely with Rostels Top Drive Equipment Eng. for a couple of years in making

improvements to make the buildings, equipment, and the parts skids continuously more user

friendly in the field and to follow up on the improvements through to fruition.

To simplify things as I had before for various other companies, Engineering and myself developed

and implemented a series of QA/QC check off lists for equipment, work, and all parts needed. This

assisted in making the division more proficient and to help in the tracking of quality and

progression of work, parts, and time frames to get the various stages of work done in a timely

manner so as to keep the flow of production constant in order to meet the various schedules and

deadlines.

I followed the progression of all parts and equipment needed through all stages of

manufacturing/Inspection to completion so as to have the parts and equipment needed in a timely

manner in order for me to do the assembling and meet those deadlines.

Once I had everything assembled and installed I used the implemented shipping check off list to

inventory everything, package it up, and load it out to the field.
