and exciting culinary options. Increased sales from $392,000 in year one (1) to

$1,700,000 by year ten (10) while maintaining a consistent 20% profit margin. I have

since sold both restaurants and desire a position back in technical sales.

Sales Engineer

Experience in hydraulics and mechanical solutions for leading pump distributor. Sold

centrifugal pumps, progressive cavity pumps, air operated diaphragm pumps, internal

gear pumps and waste water lift station packages. Also sold air compressors,

mechanical seals and work station scissor lifts. Product names included but not

limited to GOULDS PUMPS, Wilden, Seepex, Gorman Rupp, Atlas Copco, Corken,

John Crane Seals and Southworth Scissor Lifts.

Evaluated, designed, engineered and implemented product and service solutions in

line with client needs and requirements. Orchestrated conferences and presentations to

assess, implement mechanical products along with service contracts. Managed ten

(10) county territory in which I grew sales from $325,000 in year one (1) to

$1,300,000 by the end of year five (5). Completed training schools for GOULDS

PUMPS (Seneca Falls, NY), Gorman Rupp Pumps (Mansfield, OH), Wilden Pumps

(Grand Terrace, CA) and Corken High Pressure Compressors (Oklahoma City, OK).

Sales Engineer

Experience in extrusion technology to manufacture vinyl coated fabrics and die

cutting cloth fabrics. Responsible for selling our technology to preferred clients such

as General Motors Corporation, Lear Seating Corporation, Sea Ray Boats and

Thomas Built Buses. Generated and submitted weekly project status reports to senior

level management in order to support business directives. Performed time studies to

improve system performance, labor cost studies, designed machine layouts on

Autocad to optimize plant efficiency. Key contribution: securing contracts with

Thomas Built Buses for outfitting their new line of school buses with ATHOL fabrics

for the entire state of North Carolina.
