Clinical practice philosophy

Being a nurse practitioner entails caring for the whole patient as an

educator and advocate, as well as being a health-care provider. My

philosophy involves not just the art and cognitive science of nursing, but

also the idea of customer service and being invested in the wellbeing of

those who trust you to have their best interests at heart. That investment

means time, thoughtful consideration and the willingness to get to know

your patients and help them determine - and follow - their best path to

wellness and health maintenance. I believe this philosophy is critical in

caring for patients with multiple co-morbidities.
