Study the scope of work & project specification requirement.

Responsibilities •

• Analysis of the Risk / Deviation as per project specification.

• Preparation of the projects base design (Substation main one line diagram,

Protection logic diagram, interlock logic diagram, CT & VT calculation

requirements, AC/DC auxiliary system design calculation).

• Preparation of all substation required signals for (SER, SCADA, TFR and

Annunciation) systems.

• Preparation/Review of the Panel List / Relay List AC/DC Load Calculation

• Preparation/Review of the BOQ.

• Base Design Preparation / Review of Base Design

• Detail Design Preparation / Review of the Detail Design for the Control and

Protection Panels

• Ordering of the material for the project scope

• Coordination with Customer, Consultant and Contractor/sub contractor for the

timely approval of the drawing / documents

• Attending the meeting with Customer, consultant and contractor for the

technical clarification

• Coordination with Panel Manufacturer / factory.

• Coordination with Testing and Commissioning Team

• Coordination with Procurement & Project Management Team

• Following up the project schedule.

• Optimizing the project cost by analyzing the customer requirement

appropriately

• Executing the project in order to meet customer expectation.

• Review the technical offers as per IEC, ANSI & SEC standard specifications.

• Control and protection panels design

• Preparation of the panels interfacing and terminations.

• Modify the exciting protection and control schemes for old substations (remote

end S/S's) to be matching with the new protection scheme requirement.

• Preparation of the relay setting calculation (Distance, Differential, Restricted

EF, Back up O/C & EF relays, ect.). (ABB, SIEMENS, SEL, MICOM…) relays.

• Protections relay co ordination.

• Power system analysis studies (load flow & short circuit).

• ETAP power system analysis and relay settings calculation.

• Aspen short circuit and relay setting co ordination.

• Site visit survey.
