PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Designory 2013 to 2014
Chicago, Illinois
Sr. Technical Engineer (Sitecore)
I, worked on a project team of Front-end and Back-end Developers to deliver a brand new website to
Regal Entertainment Company. The current site was written in .NET and the CMS system was Sitecore
6.5. The Regal project was the first .NET, Sitecore project for Designory. There were several components
to this project. The first component was to evaluate the current site which was written in .NET and
Sitecore and to correct issues with site in a remediation project. The second component was to rebuild a
brand new site using .NET and Sitecore 6.5, while maintaining the existing site. The new Regal site
included a new interface and new backend functionality utilizing Regal’s web services and Fandango web
services. Also, included in this project, was a brand new application to register customers and present
them with promotional and special products. I wrote most of the code for this part of the project. The last
component was the Mobile Showtimes component. This website was a scaled down version of the
desktop site, but it included Geolocation services to help determine a person’s physical location and assist
them in finding a theatre location in their area and look up movie information, view trailers, and buy
tickets from Fandango. I wrote this entire component.
Furthermore, I rewrote the Designory website in .NET and Sitecore. For this I built a local instance of
Sitecore 6.5 and installed SQL Server. I set up a new Website in IIS. The original site was written using
HTML and JavaScript. I maintained the old JavaScript and functionality and rewrote the hard-coded
HTML components using Sitecore.
Paradigm Technology 2013 to 2013
Chicago, Illinois
Web Developer (Sitecore)
Worked on the Mitsubishi Electric Automation account. This account was a Sitecore 6.5 site. The client’s
requirements were to work on a web site remediation project and build new web applications for that site.
I wrote new web applications utilizing data from Sitecore CMS and SQL Server. I also was on a project to
rebuild 3 websites and convert them to .NET and Sitecore.
INTERMATIC CORPORATION 2010 to 2013

Application Systems Analyst III
Primary Web Developer and Project Manager on Intermatic.com – building and maintaining web forms
and Web applications on .NET 4.0 platforms, using C# and XSLT, XML, HTML, Java Script, and SQL
Server 2008. Building and Maintaining content using Sitecore 6.3 CMS system. Part of a project team and
lead developer in the launch of brand new Intermatic.com, to launch in January 2012.
As part of the PMO, Project Manager - was involved in helping to introduce SCRUM to the IT
Department as a new project methodology. We created a board with post-it notes for our backlog and we
created stories and defined our sprints. We prioritized the work based on the IT group’s background and
experience. We created ground rules and defined all of our sprints and releases. The team was pretty open
to the changes. We were used to a waterfall methodology. Later we implemented an automated version of
this using Project Cards. With the introduction of Project Cards we were able to allow the Business
Owners the ability to add to the backlog and prioritize the workload.
Project Manager H/R System of Record Project – Met with the business to define requirements. Wrote the
project plan and scope, created milestones for project. The project entails either finding an outside hosted
solution, or building the solution in-house. Project is still a work-in-progress.
Project Manager Intranet Portal – Project was assigned to me in late June of 2012. I installed and built the
Intranet Portal and made it functional for the company. I recruited power users from various departments;

coordinated efforts to make certain that content were being updated on a regular basis. Project is on-
going.

new web applications, Web forms which updated SQL tables. Wrote all of the Java interfaces between our
Oracle Agile system and Web Site.
Project Manager for Bank transition project – Assembled project team, delegated tasks and wrote all
conversion programs using Java and AS/400 - RPGILE.
Developer of Automated Rebate Process and Project Lead – Wrote the project plan and scope. I wrote the
test plans and User Acceptance Testing. This was an iterative process due to the ever-changing was the
company was defining sales. Designed, developed and implemented a system in AS/400 -RPGILE to
apply Customer terms agreements and customer sales to calculate and post rebates to customers. Was a
manual process that took a week to perform on spreadsheets. The new process runs in less than 5 minutes
and is more accurate at determining trends and inaccuracies in customer terms.

Analyst and Lead Investigator of ERP Engineering Study – Studied the financials and the business
processes that utilize the current system. Interviewed various stakeholders and end users to evaluate the
current ERP BPCS system for effectiveness and pitted it against other systems on the market. Wrote
business case and recommendation for upper management. This study was to determine the company’s
readiness and all data was keyed into a model in Excel for making this determination.
Project Manager over all of Finance related projects - Coordinated, organized and prioritized projects that
related to Finance. This is more a PR move, to give attention to the mounting projects that related to
finance. The position was meant to be a spring board into a new Application Director’s position that was
being suggested by the IT VP and CIO.
Project Lead and Analyst – A/R GetPaid system. This is an Oracle based system. It is a workflow tool
used to create a conduit between the A/R lockbox and the ERP system. Before I took over this project the
users worked in silos and the relied heavily on IT for manual processes. I streamlined operations by
automating the process; I trained and empowered the users to work independently without IT
intervention. IT was a “bottle-neck” in this whole process. The project was more about building
efficiencies and making users accountable and able to troubleshoot their issues. Highly successfully
initiative.
