Project: The EyeMed Data Warehouse project aims to build an integrated data warehouse

for EyeMed which would address the organization’s Business reporting and analytics

requirements. EyeMed aims to develop Informatica mappings to perform ETL process from

different legacy heterogeneous systems (AS400, Sales force, Client crosswalk etc) and

Facets to hpX data model at specified interval in the target system as Oracle. These ETL

codes will help who have Informatica as their technology stack. On top of this hpX Data

Warehouse BI Reporting team creates different reports for end users. The project is split into

two releases and each release is divided into multiple phases.

Responsibilities:

• Interacted with Business Users, Business Analyst and source system owners to

gather the Requirements and Business logics.

property insurance with more than 10 million policyholders. The Insurance Data warehousing

project was developed in an effort to streamline the entire process of Insurance and to keep

track of various financials on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Claims, Premium, Loss and

Contracts were some of the modules we were basically dealing. The Source systems were

heterogeneous Oracle, Flat File, Siebel and SQL server with the target system as Oracle. As

a ETL Informatica developer my main responsibilities were involved in SDLC of Data

warehouse, Performance Tuning, Error Handling, and implementation of best practices.
