Objective:
To obtain an opportunity within the field of cosmetology as a licensed hairdresser and
manicurist
Experience:
Divas Unlimited Academy clinical floor
• Performed haircuts using 0,45,90 and 180 degree angles
• Processed chemical services such as perms, Jeri curls, relaxers and hair color
• Completed retouch and virgin applications during chemical services
• Conducted spa treatments, manicures and pedicures
Special Projects:
• Hair Design Project, an opportunity to create a hairstyle on a mannequin using various
materials other than hair, that exhibited design lines, texture, form, space and color
• Special Effect Hair coloring Project, an opportunity to identify the mannequins natural
hair color level and taking the hair to a level 4, using a hair color toner 4G with a volume
10 developer. After the base color was applied, we were told to add our own special effect
to the hair coloring process. I chose to use the foil technique to create two tone highlights
by applying lighter with volumes 20 and 40 to the apex and crown area, which gave my
mannequin a more dramatic look
