benefit plan administrator and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) segment of Mercer. Conducted regular
financial reviews with company executives and operations managers. Oversaw 18 team members. The team
was responsible for budgeting, accounting, analysis, tax, operations audits (SAS 70), and internal controls.
ACCENTURE
North American Financial Controller, ACCENTURE HR SERVICES, Chicago, IL 2003 – 2005

Directed the financial reporting, planning and accounting functions for this $180 million Business Process
Outsourcing (BPO) segment of Accenture. Oversaw six team members and service center personnel.
• Managed the successful Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) implementation initiative.
• Managed the introduction of government contract accounting standards. Compliance allowed for proper
FAR/CAS disclosures to the DCAA and facilitated additional, multi-million dollar, public sector sales.
• Instituted changes in the company's benefits structure that produced first-year savings of over $1.2 million.
ADECCO/SPRING GROUP USA, Controller, Chicago, IL (US business discontinued) 2001 - 2003
Reported financial and operating results for the US operation of this major UK-based IT staffing and software
(BPO) company. Managed all accounting, audit, and tax matters. Met with a soft IT staffing market (post
9/11), recommended discontinuing the organic entrance to the US market. The US business was discontinued.
RANDSTAD/SFN GROUP, INC., IT CONSULTING DIVISION
Operations Controller, Oak Brook, IL 1996 - 2000
Coordinated financial planning for Spherion's multi-national Information Technology division, which grew
from $200 million to $750 million in revenue.
• Performed post-acquisition integration activities on Norrell, an acquisition that doubled the business’ size.
• Spearheaded an internally developed, client-server budget application, replacing a cumbersome
spreadsheet approach. The budgeting timeframe was reduced by 50%.
• Reduced annual commission costs by $1 million. Oversaw the incentive process for over 500 employees.
