university community. Responsible for documenting and reporting on energy consumption trends.

initiatives, and interfacing with faculty, staff, and students on campus. Work with State Energy
Office and other state agencies to facilitate campus awareness and energy conservation.
• Create university strategic energy plan, update yearly data compared to baseline, and obtain
approval from Director of Facilities Operations and AVC for Facilities. Responsible for sending
updated yearly strategic energy plan to NC State Energy Office. Responsible for working with
internal Facilities Operations IT personnel to get strategic energy plan posted to campus website

• Primary contact for university for the implementation of the UNC Systems first performance
contract. Worked with the NC State Energy Office, attended seminars, prepared original project
scope, prepared RFP, issued RFP, coordinated RFP onsite meeting to discuss project with
ESCO's. Responsible for escorting ESCO's throughout campus and assisting ESCO's with
existing building plan review, responsible for Q & A response in written form, responsible for
assembling university team to review and evaluate project proposals, responsible for preparing
meeting notes and distributing to team including template documents from SEO, responsible for
distributing all ESCO documentation to team upon receiving proposals, responsible for staying on
schedule throughout review process. Upon ESCO selection, responsible for assisting selected

Work with maintenance personnel to obtain campus generator run times and fuel consumption to
incorporate into monthly permit emissions spreadsheet.

first campus carbon footprint and report prior to arrival of sustainability manager. Thereafter, work
with new sustainability manager to obtain necessary data to move from carbon footprint to create
a carbon plan.
