As a SHEC Manager, my responsibilities included the up-keep of JSAs, SOPs, facility and regional policies/pro-
cedures and local/federal/state permits for five facilities with over one hundred employees. I was responsible for
ensuring all environmental and industrial hygiene, occupation health and safety programs, policies and procedures
are current, accurate, and effective. On a regular basis, I assisted the plant manager and/or facility manager closely
in support of the environment, health, and safety needs in all areas of the facility. I was the Emergency Response
Coordinator for each site, responsible for the overall management of the Emergency Responses and Contingency
Plans. I conducted monthly safety and environmental audits, as well as EHS awareness trainings for all employees.
I have experience with Workers’ Compensation investigations/reporting and new hire orientation/training. Subject
matter expert for observational behavior audits within the SIMS BBS program. Responsible for regulatory agency
interaction and EHS permitting.

Health and Safety Officer/Field Manager
As a Field Manager, I was responsible for a large network of monitoring wells that are sampled daily. My respon-
sibilities included the management and safety of daily field activities including sample collection, management of
environmental samples, and oversight of monitoring well installations. These responsibilities also included the
planning, organizing, and implementing of all environmental compliance field activities on and off site for 300
monitoring wells. I was responsible for daily interaction, coordination, and communication with the client and
other contractors to complete the task both safely and within project/regulatory compliance. I coordinated daily
interactions with the laboratory and also perform QA/QC on all chain of custody’s. I approved/verified all invoices
that are generated by the third party laboratory for the client. I also performed extensive quality assurance and
data validation within the project. I assisted with the writing and data evaluation for the annual report which is
submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency.
During the period of February 2011 to June 2011, the acting Project Manager was on maternity leave. I acted as
the Project Manager during this period. My responsibilities included maintaining the monthly project budget, ap-
proving project invoices, and maintaining client interaction.

QA/QC Lab Manager
In 2012, I obtained a laboratory certification with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection for the
following parameters; pH, dissolved oxygen, specific conductivity, turbidity and temperature using the Standard
Methods and EPA methods. Once this certification was completed SAIC was considered a certified laboratory for
several parameters.

Health and Safety Officer/Field Manager
As the Health and Safety Officer (HSO), my direct responsibilities included daily safety meetings with sub-con-
tractors and ensuring that all field work is done safety and within the project scope of work. The PAOC project
entails over 350 soil borings, installation of 150 temporary and 75 permanent monitoring wells. During the first
phrase of the investigation, a direct push drilling method is used to collect soil samples which are analyzed in the
field using an X-Ray Florescence (XRF) device. The XRF is used with compliance of the NJDEP rules and regula-
tions. I am trained on how to properly use the XRF device safety and within compliance of the NJDEP.

My experience and skills as a field scientist provided assistance in multiple portfolios including work at McGuire
Air Force Base where I supported not only general environmental investigative work, but also supported the risk
assessment obligations of several McGuire projects through site investigation, flora and fauna identification and
characterization, and biological and toxicological information retrieval.

Fisheries Technician
Participated in an intercollegiate study of large migratory fish species of the Atlantic coastal region. The study
ranged from Massachusetts to North Carolina and required coordination with local fisheries personnel and marine
owners/operators at various locations throughout coastal New Jersey. Additional activities included collecting bio-
logical field measurements, conducting length-weight conversions, and data coordination with the National
Marine Fisheries Service.

Project Coordinator for Environmental Assessments
Supervised and coordinated trainings for local environmental groups and community members. Responsibilities
involved conducting visual and biological assessments of the Matawan watershed. The activities conducted, such
as water quality testing and fish sampling, were in accordance with EPA protocols. Coordinated and implemented
safety trainings for up to 50 local volunteers. Upon completion of the study, compiled and analyzed the data, and
delivered it in the form of a presentation to local township authorities.
