Customer Service Cashier
Academy Sports and Outdoors - Tomball, TX - April 2013 to Present
Meet and greet customers, check people out, answer and customer questions, keep department clean and
orderly, restock shelves throughout shift, I have to handle money and keep a correct count of the money in my
drawer, I have to be able to deal with and help irate and upset customers, I do returns and exchanges, I have
to go planograms which putting together a new theme for a section of my department or multiple sections. I
have to to my paperwork and the end of my shift. I train new cashiers and new customer service cashiers, I
get things ready to be sent out to a different store, I help other departments if and when needed. I answer any
fellow employee questions. I have to be able to work with money and customers at a fast pace.
Hostess

Meet and greet customers, seat customers in the proper rotation, help servers if and when needed, keep station
clean, set up tables for big parties, clean tables if and when needed, answer the phone for to-go orders and
any customer questions, help upset customers if and when asked or needed, train new hosts or hostesses.
I was also what they call an expo. Expos work behind the counter putting together the servers orders to make
thinks quicker and easier. It is VERY fast paced so you have to think and move quickly. You also have to
multitask, you have to get orders ready, put proper condiments on each order, refill silver wear bowls and get
to-go orders ready. Help servers bring food out. Also have to keep the station clean and orderly.
