• Establish project quality plan, including test & inspection plan (ITP).

Project Handled:

• Presently working in ECC DBN Projcect in Bukom under Toyo..

• 2012 / 2013- SCOT & BUGIS PROJECT - Installing 67,500 Dia inch

piping (1/2” to 48”), Structure (200 ton), Equipment (Tower, heat exchanger, waste

heat boiler, couple of Fin-Fan cooler, Reactors, Pumps, Stack and Drum).

• 2011/2012 - SRU-7, installed Waste heat Boiler, Pumps, Stack, Drum,

Steel Structure (150 Ton), and 38,500 Dia Inch Piping include Jacket piping.

• 2011- Region-6 project in Bukom Refinery (Singapore) -Iinstallation

of Column, Heat exchanger, Tower (45m), Process piping (15000 Dia Inches) & 150

Tons of Structure installation.

• 2011- Tank -6319 & 7503 Rehabilitation works - Changing the Doom

roof to Aluminum roof, changing the bottom plate, changing the shell plate, wind

grid, steam coil, fire pipe line.

• 2010-SPT IRF – MP06 (Singapore Parallel Train In Refinery

Facilities) New ARU (Aromatic Reformer Unit) installation - under

FWP/ExxonMobile - Jurong Refinery (1 Million Man-hours without LTA)

• 2009 -SPT IRF – MP05 (Singapore Parallel Train In Refinery

Facilities) Sulfer Unit Revamp work under FWP/ExxonMobile - in PAC, Jurong

• 2008 - SRU 1 & 2 SD (Sulfur Recovery Unit 1 & 2 Shut-Down) under

FWP/ExxonMobile - in PAC, Jurong Island.(75000 Man-hours without LTA)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for shop and site quality control on fabrication, installation and

testing.

• Review of ITP, WPS, PQR, Method Statements or work procedures.

• Lead and manage a team of Welding Inspectors to support in Quality

activities and report every activity (daily task) to QC Manager.

• Review of NDT matrix to check proper coverage of NDT & PWHT for

various piping classes.

• Co-ordination with Clients, Consultants and Third Party Inspection Agencies

(include MOM).

• Organize and conduct welder’s qualification and mock-up test as per ASME

Section IX and client specifications

• Coordinate for Punch list walk through, Loop check as per P&ID, Isometric

& GAD.

• Responsible to identify all changes (material dimensions etc) for as built.

• Visual Inspection of structural members fit up and weld joints as per

acceptance criteria of AWS D 1.1

• Carry out Material inspection for Pipe, Fittings, Valves, Electrodes, Gaskets

and Review manufacture test certificate.

• Interpretation of RT and witnessing of LPT, UT (TFA), MPI, PWHT, PMI,

Holiday testing & Leak test (Hydro, Pneumatic, Service)

• Carryout the inspection of Equipment alignment (Static & Rotary) and

Structural works.

• Carryout the inspection painting of piping, Structural works.

• Get approval for test packages and release to pressure test.

• Assist process owner to investigate root cause, generating corrective &

preventive actions and verify the actions effectiveness related to NCR's. Prepare and

maintain NCR register

• Preparing system and test package and getting approval from client.

• Monitoring Pre heating, Inter pass temperature, Post weld heat treatment and

Control & Storage of Welding Consumables,Perform Hardness testing

• Weld Visual Inspection

• Preparation of Weld map, Weld traceability & Test reports.

• Preparation of monthly Welder Performance reports & NCR.

• Conduct and prepare monthly Internal Quality Audit.

• Arrange and co-ordinate NDT tests including reviewing and interpretation of

the radiography films.

• Liaise with NDT subcontractors, third party surveyors as per quality system

and project specific Requirements.

• Monitor all welders’ performance including the sub-contractors productivity /

welder.
