PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Presently working as Product Specialist - Chromatography with “B&W Separation

Technologies Pvt. Ltd.” Pune since September 2007. A joint venture of Bischoff

Chromatography, and WICOM GmbH, the leading brands in HPLC and GC

capillary column manufacturing in Europe, US and South East Asia, having state-of-

art HPLC column production facility in Bischoff Chromatography GmbH and one of

the few capillary drawing towers and GC capillary column production facilities in

world with WICOM GmbH. B&W Separation Technologies is a collaboration of these

two German giants for the expansion of their business in South Asia and Middle East,

establishing a high-tech column production laboratory in Pune (India), with

Professionals and Executives trained in Germany for the sophisticated techniques

and instruments.

Worked as Laboratory In-charge in “Maharashtra Enviro Power Limited”, Pune (from

Feb. 2007 to August 2007). Was In-charge of the initial laboratory set up at a hazardous

waste disposal site having disposal facilities of sanitary landfill, incineration and sample

testing laboratory.

Worked as Analytical Chemist in Toys, Food and Hardline (TFH / Pharma) Division of a

multinational group “Intertek-Labtest Testing Services”, in Gurgaon (from Nov. 2006 till

Feb. 2007). The group is having state-of-art analytical instrumentation facility, including

ICP-OES, AAS, HPLC, LC-MS, XRF, GC, GC-MS, UV-Visible spectrometer, FTIR and

various other analytical instruments. It provides services in the field of all kinds of

hardline, toys, pharmaceuticals, eatables, textile dyes and various other similar kinds of

product testing. Including this, the company is also involved in auditing and certification.

Worked as Junior Research Fellow in “Central Pollution Control Board” New Delhi

(from October 2005 to Nov.2006). The organization has one of a kind, State-of-Art

“National Reference Trace Organics Laboratory” accredited by NABL, meeting ISO/IEC

17025 guidelines having highly sophisticated analytical instruments such as HRGC-MS,

GC-MS, HPLC, GC, AOX Analyzer, ICP-MS, AAS etc.

Worked as Junior Research Fellow in “Central Instrumentation Lab” in “Chemical

Recovery, Environment Management and Biotechnology Division” of “Central Pulp and

Paper Research Institute” (an ISO 9001-2000 accredited institute), Saharanpur, (U.P.)

(from July 2003 to October 2005). Worked on a project to make Biodegradable Plastic

from Bagasse waste, learned and worked on AAS, HPIC, GC, CHNSO elemental analyzer

and AOX analyzer.
