• Engineered behavior of adhesive systems (Hot Melt & Solvent Based) used for Commercial Graphics by improving surface adhesion, mechanical strength and other materials properties through the analysis of data extracted from DSC, DMA, Optical Microscope,FTIR and Goniometer.

• Tested PSA Adhesive performance using Adhesion, Shear and Peel Testing.

• Created handspreads and used UV Cure technology to create composite adhesives for lamination applications.

• Fabricated composite materials, including Aerogels, and operated Instrons to test their mechanical properties.

• Research resulted in an improved systematic approach to manufacturing composite systems of interest.

MIT UROP: Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies Cambridge, MA Student Researcher March 2010 – May 2010

• Created Polyelectrolyte Membrane (PEM) Films through the use of the layer by layer method.

• Analyzed and compared the growth two PEMs of differing polycation charges using data extracted from UV-Vis and Ellipsometry measurements and outlined a methodology by which to grow the linear PEM system of interest.
