Academic Projects:

Performance and analysis of glass fibre composites with structural joints - Final year

The aim of the work is to perform an accurate analysis of tensile strength between the bonded, riveted and hybrid joints. Since the joints consist of continuous fibre, sections man made composites materials are often jointed using bolts and bonded joints. Their joints were constructed by unidirectional glass fibre, epoxy resin were fabricated using the wet layup, vacuum bag resin infusion method.

Pneumatic vice – Pre final year:

We used compressed air to operate a piston and control the jaws used for high speed clamping and releasing of work piece efficiently. The vice includes a pivot for its movable jaw at reactive side to prevent upward raising of work piece during clamping and a cushion arrangement at both the sides of piston for the long service life and improvement of machining accuracy.

Direction changing conveyor – diploma

We had developed a conveyor system that can be operated in multiple directions. It can convey entities in 360 degree rotation angle. The mechanism of direction handling and timing controls are managed with a motor unit.

Extracurricular Activities:

• School Kabadi team captain and won many prizes in sport events.

• Active member of Mechanical Engineering Association in college.
