PROJECT:1

Title : BRITESH TELECOMMUNICATION

Client : BRITESH TELECOM-BT

Nature of Project : Telecom network.

Organisation : AVENION INDIA (P) LTD

Software used : Microstation SE

Description: It is an utility project. In which we need to provide

entire Telecommunication network information system of British Telecom.

Cables flow from exchange to primary connection point (PCP) and PCP to

Distribution point (DP). Initially span conversion team digitizes the spans

according to plant map, by seeing the root information in duct diagrams. As

the plant map is geo located it is used as reference for digitization of

spans. Spans and cables were digitized with the help of BT Tools

(Customized by Avenion). As soon as span digitization the transmedia team

places the cables in the path of spans. Attribution for spans and cables

were given through BT tool. Customized tool were used to complete the work

with quality and in simplify way.

PROJECT:2

Project Title : American Telecom & telegraph (AT&T)

Software : AutoCAD 3D Map 2005

Duration : one month

AT&T is a telecom project which involves conflation of all telecom features

to Tele-atlas

Land base mega tile from non-geo position telecom features from inputs

PLR/DTL.

We have to migrate all PLR'S and DTL'S information to mega tile in exact

location with street in 10's offset distance. we have to take care merging

issues and duplicates issues. Apart from these we have to capture new

centre lines where the streets are not available in megatile and need to

capture missing poles from tiffs.

Scope: Repositioning features to Tele-atlas Land base.

Process flow: Inventory, Migration, Quality Control, Merging, final check &

Delivery doc preparation, Quality Assurance, Cuttile.

Project Name : ENBW (Energie Baden_wurltemberg)

Team Size : 350

TOOLS.

Description : (Energie Baden-W rttemberg AG) is an AM / FM Electrical

project dealing with the Digitizing of electric facility network i.e. High

Voltage, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Street lighting and

Telecommunication. The Digitization part will be carried over in AutoCAD

Map5 and the data is loaded into Arc FM UT where dimensioning part will be

done. Programs like Checker will be done in the ARC FM UT before

delivering the data to client.

PROJECT:4

Title : Central India Pipeline Project

Role : GIS Engineer

Client : Reliance Industries

Objective : Integrated studies of GIS and RS tools for

optimum route

path for petroleum pipeline from Jamnagar to Patna

and Jamnagar to Hyderabad.

Project Description:

In the first phase Toposheets with 50K scale were scanned and Contours,

Drainage, Road

network, Settlements, and Forest boundaries were extracted in AutoCAD and

edited in

Arc/ Info. Spatial data was overlaid on respective IRS - lC LISS III

imageries. After

proper classification and DTM generation pipeline corridor was demarcated

taking care of

Environmental and demographic aspects.

Duration : 8months

Project Description:

Nstar is an AM / FM Electrical project dealing with the digitising of

electric facility network i.e. High Voltage, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage,

street lighting and telecommunication. The Digitization part will be

carried over in AutoCAD Map5 and the data is loaded in to Arc FM UT. both

graphical and attribute data pertaining to cables, conduits, Transformers,

Switches, capacitors, etc. of the Electric network as per the customer

provided specification.

Client : Robeson Cogo (Worked in San Antonio - USA)

Duration : 18 months

Project Description:

This Project is Land Project. Cogos are created form reading by Deed Books

and insterted that cogos in to our land base. We are done Texas-USA area in

this project. And also I taken training and done work in San Antonio for 9

months.

Title : Scot Control (Scotland).

Client : Scotland Revenue Department

Organisation : DSM Soft, Trichy.

Role : Geo referencing, Conversion and Editing.

Software used : Auto CAD Map 2000i, CAD Overlay 2000i.

Client Inputs : Satellite Photos, Cadastral maps of village in

Tiff format.

Description: Mainly the project aim is conversion of attributed parcels

that are belongs to agricultural lands. The given satellite photos are

already registered to geo-coordinates. The cadastral maps are rubber

sheeting to match the Ortho photos. Then the conversion of attributed

parcels with given parcel ID in maps. After completion of conversion

topology created to the vector data, then the Auto Cad dwg imported into

the arc view to create the shape files. The final output given to the

client is in the arc view shape file format.

PROJECT:8

Title : Scot Sections RPG-2003 (Registered Parcellary

Graphic)

Scotland.

Client : SCOTLAND REVENUE DEPARTMENT

Role : Geo referencing, Conversion and Editing.

Software used : Auto CAD Map 2000i, CAD Overlay 2000i.

Client Inputs : Satellite Photos, Cadastral maps of village in

Tiff format.

Description: Mainly the project aim is conversion of section boundaries

of the Scotland. The given satellite photos are already registered to geo-

coordinates. The cadastral maps are rubber sheeting to match the ortho

photos. Then the conversion of sections starts with given parcel ID in

maps. After completion of conversion topology created to the vector data,

then the Auto Cad dwg imported into the arc view to create the shape files.

The final output given to the client is in the arc view shape file format.

PROJECT:9

Title : Scot-I lot

Client : Scotland, France

Role : Geo referencing, Conversion and Editing.

Software used : Auto CAD Map 2000i, CAD Overlay.

Client Inputs : Satellite Photos, Cadastral maps of village in

Tiff format.

Description: I-LOT stands for small islands in French language.

Basically this is a parcel mapping project. The main aim of this project is

segregation of agricultural and non-agricultural lands in France. Client

sends us Ortho-photos and images of cadastral maps. We convert them into

vector form. First we scan the images geo-referencing them by using CAD

Overlay. We capture the lands marked by then formers in France. We use

different layers for different type of lands. Edge matching the files and

finally we calculate the area of Agriculture land, and convert into shape

file by using Arc/Info.
