(Summary of Experiences

I am having 37 years experiences in large mining PSUs of NMDC and HCL and

private companies(India, Saudi Arab,Indonesia, Iran, West Indies,

Zimbabwe) of Multi-mineral prospecting, exploration, evaluation and due

diligence studies of deposits at all stages by geological, geochemical

and geophysical methods in India and abroad, starting from the level of

STA(Geology) to head of Department of Geology and Diamond drilling. The

various minerals that I worked are Iron ore, Limestone, Bauxite, Copper,

gold, Nickel, Chromite, Manganese. I was also responsible for drafting

and submission of all investigation reports, writing Training manuals,

impart training to new entrants, Liaison and other related works to obtain

and execution of P.L. Worked as GM(Geology) in Atha Group in India,

Zimbabwe, SA .and now in the same organization as consultant (geology)

after retirement, leading a team of Geologists, Mining engineers,

Surveyors, finance and H.R personnel for the above mentioned works and

over all responsible for various proposed prospecting and exploration

sites, procurement and potentiality of working and New deposits, P/L and

M/L applications.

Prospecting and exploration experiences in all these minerals include

supervisions of final selection of target areas, surface mapping, section

preparing, Pitting, trenching, narrowing down to final areas of detailed

explorations, bore hole logging, feasibility studies, submission of

detailed reports phase-wise, detailed project reports and total

exploration planning and executions at various levels including

administrative and liaison works for getting the Prospecting licences and

Mining geology(Surface and Under ground):FROM JUNIOR LEVELS TO H.O.D OF

GEOLOGY AND DIAMOND DRILLING IN LARGE MECHANISED MINES OF IRON ORE,

LIMESTONE, COPPER(underground and Surface) AND NICKEL. This include

submissions of mining plans, all exploration reports, renewal of lease,

evaluation and procurement of mines and workable deposits, liaison works

for getting P.L, M.L, MOEF clearances, ore reserve estimations and

submission of annual ore reserve estimation, preparations and

interpretations of all types of sections and plans, mine development and

mine planning, grade control and recovery improvement measures and all

other related jobs of mining geologist.
