• Devised and implemented a system whereby extremely long lead parts were made available 4 months

earlier than originally anticipated.

with extended payment terms of N90.

• Maintained a critical component report, used exclusively by management, to monitor the potential delay for

delivery of a customer’s aircraft.

• Identified opportunities to procure product directly from the manufacturer, thereby elevating the costs

associated with the distribution efforts. This savings was estimated to exceed $250k per year.

Synthes, USA – West Chester, PA

• Managed expenditures exceeding $2.5mm per month, in support of the release of new products.

• Responsible for sourcing all parts associated with the design, development, prototyping, and production of

new technologies.

• Identified the ideal method of fabrication and selected the best suited suppliers in the effort to source 125

redesigned instruments. The revenues generated from these instruments were estimated at $75mm annually.

• Sponsored a supplier symposium, which provide select suppliers the opportunity to bid on $14mm of

business. This provided the company with a $1.4 mm cost reduction on product that had been previously

fabricated.

• Maintained a record of 100% on time launch of new products, while adhering to stringent time lines and

constantly evolving designs.

• Devised a method for reclaiming $4mm of finished goods inventory, which had been earmarked for

obsolesces and disposal. Over 1/2 of this product was sold in the European market and saved the company

over $2mm in scrap costs.

• Provided guidance and mentoring for all new buyers at Synthes.
