Major Responsibilities

• Preparing general contractors bid proposal and present them to client

• Analyzes blueprints and other documents and preparing cost estimates and documents for bids held

by different agencies and owners in Metro NYC area

• Preparing trade and general contractors budgets

• Preparing bid proposal, material lists, and change orders for different trades: drywall\carpentry,

ceilings, concrete, masonry, fireproofing

• Distribution of project documents using different type of FTP sites

• Managing subcontractors during bid process as well as organizing walk-thru

• Analyzing bids on projects for trade contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers bid

• Reviewing contractual documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope

changes

• Preparing rate and unit cost determination, based on productivity analysis reports and historical data

from subcontracts

• Obtains accurate and up to date pricing information from databases, contractors, suppliers, to utilize

in estimates

• Visiting on-going projects to verify status of estimate versus project status, to meet with the project

operations team, and to view work in place for experience and conformance to estimate

• Initiating, establishing and maintaining working relationships with owner, architect, engineer and

subcontractors to facilitate construction activities.

• Organizing, conducting, and representing the company at project coordination meetings at regular,

agreed-upon intervals.

• Reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor payment applications and miscellaneous

invoices

• Negotiation and buy-out projects with subcontractors and vendors Negotiating, preparing, and

executing change orders with owners, design team, and subcontractors

• Engineering analysis, value engineering

• Corresponding professionally with architects and engineers for clear understanding of project during preparation

of estimate. Developing relationships with owner and project team members.

• Multidisciplinary technical background that includes civil, electrical, mechanical divisions
