Introduction:

My name is Jamie; I am a 19 year old male that lives in Hatfield, I have a lot of skills and can be easily instructed to get on with a lot of tasks whatever it may be. Many employers have told me that I am hardworking and impressed by my work. My most recent job was at DHL where I was a parts picker & parcel sender. Before that a temporary contract at ‘UK Assistance‘ where I was covering staff shortages, as a driver and assisting in the workshop. I also have a full driving license, which I obtained in October 2011 and transport.

Previous employment:

Working at a Market, in a team of people setting up and dismantling the stalls for people to sell from.

Night work deliveries, working in a warehouse enviroment which involved printing labels, loading a van with bundles of newspapers and

then going out with the driver throughout the night delivering a number of bundles to Supermarkets such as Tesco's and Morrisons, also petrol stations and Newsagents.

B&T Motor Salvage. I was involved in various tasks, which included Dismantling vehicles for parts,

De-polluting and moving vehicles around, stripping specific parts from vehicles for customers, valeting other cars and fitting tyres to customer’s vehicles. I can also operate Fork-lift trucks.

Uk assistance. I worked at a car insurance accident repair centre. I was responsible for driving out to customers addresses, picking up the customers vehicle and then driving back to the centre where it would then be prepared for work to be done on it. I was also involved in preparing the vehicles for delivery.

I have also been involved with various aspects of Property Maintenance, varying from building, decorating, and landscaping. Warehouse experience.

Education:

I attended Onslow St. Audrey’s where I had an excellent attendance record. I also attended college for one day a week, during years 10 and 11. This was a Multi-trades course studying plastering, joinery,plumbing and bricklaying, which I passed. Having left, school I then went Oaklands College for three days a week, where I studied ‘Plumbing' for 2 years. I successfully passed both courses but decided that I did not want to take it any further.

Work experience:

I done 1 weeks work experience placement through my school at ‘J&H Tool Hire Shop’ in Hatfield. Here I would clean and maintain tools and any other equipment, as well as greet customers.
