Responsible for full supervision of construction of new
steel structure for elevators and stair towers.
Supervised and worked
very closely with engineer, architect and special
inspector for steel structures. Performed ALL
initial layouts on columns and steel erections. Confirmed
attachments as far as bent plates,
bolt sizes and hardness. Personally shot all elevations
for all levels. Confirmed weld sizes and
stitching and also full penetration welds. Checked and
made site decisions for elevations and attachments.

Management
Renovation of an existing 9 story masonry block and
concrete plank. Changing the flag of Holiday Inn to a
Courtyard Marriott. Includes the renovation of 175 guest
rooms, converting meeting rooms into 14 new guest rooms,
full renovation of the Public Space and exterior
renovations to included replacing all of the glass. $6.4
million

Implement and manage on-site quality control and safety
programs. Schedule and coordinate
Construction on numerous projects. Manage and control
productivity of all outside contractors. Consult and
advise owners on all matters related to quality, cost and
time management. Successfully manage all facets of design,
permitting and inspection processes with architects,
engineers, and local government. Provided full range of
construction management/development services on multiple
projects including homes from 1.2 million.
President/Owner PDS Builders (1980-2000)
Work consisted of concrete, framing, trimming, trusses,
windows, int. and ext. doors, reading of working plans,
working with inspectors and homeowners, handling
subcontractors, ordering materials and deliveries. Not
only supervised but hands-on work when needed. In 1998,
designed and built Looney's Diner (Ocala, FL). Designed
and developed 5,000 sq.ft. mall into diner using all State
Codes, drawing of plans, buying and placement of
equipment. In 2000, remodel of Looneys II in Lynn, FL.
Gutted 3,000 sq.ft building and designed and built diner
from ground up.

TRADE SKILLS: 20+ yrs. Experience in drywall, framing,
acoustical ceilings, finish carpentry, millwork, blueprint
