Description :GLAMS is a web based GIS solution for Airports Authority of
India (AAI) to manage infrastructure facilities of 122 Airports spread all
over India. It also manages Land and assets of all the Airports and Civil
Enclaves. Some of these areas and its surroundings are prone to
encroachments. Hence for monitoring of all such encroachments and rapid
planning, AAI had planned to make use of Geographical Information system.
Successfully implemented GIS based Land and Asset Management System
at 18 Airports, which involved project implementation, execution, technical
assistance and training onsite to customer for resolving their queries.

2>Project: BEST, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport (best)
Undertaking, Mumbai, India
Synopsis: BEST is a distributor of electric power in the island city of
Mumbai. BEST receives power in bulk from TATA Power Company (TPC). To
maintain the electricity distribution network in a systematic way and to
optimize the planning process for providing to its customers best of its
services B.E.S.T has undertaken this project to implement Automated Mapping
/ Facilities Management /Geographical Information System (AM / FM / GIS) in
its drawing Office. This model will handle the entire graphic and non-
graphic data in a centralized single relational database, for the user to
access, view and edit and to use application modules for analyzing the
electric flow and optimizing the electrical network.
Role: The job-involved preparation of the System Requirement Study
(SRS).Analyzing the Electrical
Network & understanding the network flow concepts so as to maintain &
improvise the actual physical
network (along with behavior of the n/w) in the Geographic Environment.
. Metadata and data model creation as per SRS.
. Responsible to study in detail the existing network and to know the
detail requirement in with consultation with BEST officials and
collection of data for achieving the project.

Visakhapatnam, India
Synopsis: EPDCL is the basic electric network provider for the entire
Visakhapatnam City. The aim of this
project is to 'Migration' of their electrical network to GeoMedia platform
and superimpose on land base and to customize model to integrate their
billing data and expedite the planning & designing process. This model will
handle the entire graphic and non-graphic data in a centralized single
relational database, for the user to access, view and edit.
Role: The job-involved preparation of the System Requirement Study (SRS).
Project Scheduling and
Distribution of tasks to the team members in order to meet Project
Deadlines. Analyzing the Electrical
Network & understanding the network flow concepts so as to maintain &
improvise the actual physical
network (along with behavior of the n/w) in the Geographic Environment.
Responsible for achieving Data
Validation. Customizing the flow of the network for tracing as per the
connectivity. Writing Technical
Documents like User Manuals which give an in-depth know how on the Project

4>Project: HESCOM, Hubli Electric Supply Company Ltd., Hubli-
Dharwar(Karnataka), India
Synopsis: HESCOM is the major electrical distribution company in Karnataka.
This APDRP project and on
the basis of this asset codification, consumer indexing is done. The aim of
this project to draw electric
network of HT lines 33,11 KVA & Lt lines, means from substation to consumer
level which is in electronic
format. This information is used for asset management, electrical analysis,
energy auditing etc.
Role: The job-involved preparation of the System Requirement Study (SRS),
on-site project implementation, co-ordination, training, site
commissioning.
The same work is done for CSEB, Chattisghad State Electricity Board(MP),
HPECB, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board.

CESC, Calcutta electric supply company, - SRS study, on-site project

As above mentioned EPDCL, BESCOM, HSCOM, CSEB is having over head electric

5>Project: MTNL, Maharashtra Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) Mumbai, India
Synopsis: MTNL Mumbai is the basic telecom network provider for the entire
Mumbai City. The aim of this
Project is 'Migration' from FRAMME platform to G/Technology platform. The
model was designed to handle the entire graphic and non-graphic data in a
centralized single relational database, for the user to access, view and
edit. This customized model will integrate with the MTNL`s Fault Record
System (FRS) data, which will expedite the planning & designing process.
Role: The job-involved preparation of the System Requirement Study (SRS).
Project set up emphasizing on the Migration activities. Project Scheduling
and Distribution of tasks to the team members in order to meet Project
Deadlines. Analyzing the Telecom Network & understanding the network flow
concepts so as tomaintain & improvise the actual physical network (along

6> Project: VERIZON, USA Based Telephone Service Company
Synopsis: The source records were in tiff formats. We convert the features
initially from manual records to
IDDS environment.
Role: Graphics was captured from Tiff format manually using IDDS GIS
software with database in Oracle 8i Rolta United States in Atlanta. The
project and the IDDS software had to be studied before converting the data
for which I had been to customer site so queries if any had to raised and
resolved from the client on day-to-day basis. The graphic data and database
data had to be solved and validated according to the sql scripts provide by
the client and validated as per the accuracy set by the client.
7> Project: BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.), [Dist: PUNE, BARIELLY,
SURAT], India
Synopsis: It involved designing, coding and conversion of Telephone
networks into intelligent graphics that have database connectivity to
various other features. Different platforms were used as per the client's
requirement.
Role: The job involved understanding the project requirements and
processes, training operators, solving
problems, meeting deadlines, implementing procedure changes, software
changes. Digisting and cleaning QC reports in plot qc, graphic qc and
generating SQL scripts to clean up the database.
BSNL-PUNE was digitized in Microstation and delivered in FRAMME format.
BSNL-BAREILLY was digitized in Geomedia Professional and delivered in
GFRAMME format.
BSNL-SURAT was digitized in microstation and delivered in GFRAMME format.
8>Project: Telus, Telecomm. Network,Cannada
Synopsis: It involved designing, coding and conversion of Telephone
networks into intelligent graphics that have database connectivity to
various other features.
Role: To develop digitized maps and images for an AM/FM projects in
Microstation
95/SE/J.Developed rule based features connectivity models, remapped
facilities on al land base into
different co-ordinate system, integrated map feature and attribute data
from multiple sources and
documents, and developed digital land base maps having plan metric and
cadastral features.
Solving the entire database related reports generated for making it ready
to the QA process where
after it goes for delivery.
9>Project: SPC, Sewerage Planning and Control (Abu Dhabi)
Synopsis: To provide data for all sewerage planning of Spc customers and
digitize all the processes
required for data conversion into FRAMME format.
Role: Here my job is to provide data for all sewerage planning of SPC
customers first in Microsoft Excel
format. Then from approval of the Microsoft Excel format from client the
data was digitized in FRAMME
format. Check the job and see the database is error free and then
delivering the data to the client.

Synopsis: It involved designing, coding and conversion of Telephone
networks into intelligent graphics. For graphics microstation and FRAMME
was used and Oracle8i was the RDBMS.
Role: The job involved understanding the project requirements and
processes, training operators, solving
problems, meeting deadlines, implementing procedure changes, software
changes. Cleaning QC reports in plot QC, graphic QC and by using SQL
scripts clean up the database. Interaction with customer.
11>Project: HKT, Hongkong Telecom, Hong Kong.
Synopsis: It involved designing, coding and conversion of Telephone
networks into intelligent graphics.
Database was in Oracle 7.X and for graphics FRAMME was used. It involved
conversion of telephone
network maps into intelligent graphics that have feature wise database
connectivity, and also the posting of changes made in maps to the data
already with the client. Micro-station was used to make the maps
intelligent, then migrated to FRAMME a GIS package.
Role: The job involved understanding the project requirements and
processes, solving problems, meeting
deadlines, implementing procedure changes, software changes. Cleaning QC
reports in plot QC, graphic
QC and generating SQL scripts to clean up the database. Delivering the
