1)PHASE-I EXPANSION PROJECT-HYDERABAD

SITE: My Home Power Ltd.- is a non conventional Bio mass plant which is one of its kind,

which utilizes grain waste as feed and generates steam energy to produce 9MW of electricity

which is supplied to APTRANSCO.

CONSTRUCTION,QC STEPS AND PRE-COMMISSIONING

Installation of new instruments and complete new wiring without disturbing the existing running

plant. DCS up gradation, addition of new I/O cards in marshalling and installation of additional

new Siemens logo and Omron PLC. Loop checking of new instruments installed.

Commissioning and Start-up. On hand work experience of instruments from YOKOGAWA,

HONEYWELL & ROSEMOUNT. Familiar with all the design documents such as DESIGN

INDEX, P&ID,LOCATION PLAN,HOOK UP’S,ILD. Loop checking of various instruments

such as temperature, pressure, flow and level transmitters. Preparation of Remote and Local

Loop Folders. Acquaint with QC test check record required during Construction and Pre-

commissioning stages. Aware of all the Safety aspects of the plant such as permit procedures and

working conditions.

FIELD CONSTRUCTION:

Knowledge on field work: How to install different instrument parameters which are as follows

Instrument stand fabrication Mounting of transmitter on stand as per standard Installation of

primary sensing element, Installation of hook up/tubing Cabling concept secondary conduit

PRE COMMISSIONING:

Loop checking of various instruments such as temperature, pressure, flow and level transmitters.

Preparation of Remote and Local Loop Folders. Acquaint with QC test check record required

during Construction and Pre-commissioning stages. Knowledge of how to present a turnover

system in Loop checking data sheet. In-depth Knowledge of Calibration of instruments such as:

Temperature bath, Temperature infrared, T.Calibrator & T.Gauge, T R X multi calibrator,

Megger test Instruments, Loop Calibrator, Hydraulic pressure calibrator, DRUCK pressure

calibrator, Digital pressure indicator, Dead weight tester, Knowledge of operating 275 Hart

communicator Coordinate work with other disciplines, Support I&C team with project

deliverables. Ensure that the appropriate client comments are incorporated; P&ID development,

prepare Cable Schedule (including I/O database) Instrument Verification – Installation,

calibration, and operation. Familiar with instruments from Yokogawa, Honeywell &

Rosemount.

PROJECTS ON PLC DURING INTERNSHIP

Project of Traffic Signal where the three Signals glow at certain interval of time the traffic

signal programming were performed with the help of ladder logic on Rs Logic 500.and Plc

used Allen Bradley Micrologic 1000 to see the output.

Filling the Bottle and Counting : The Bottles are kept on the conveyer belt filled and packed

at the top after 5 counts the output is used to collect the box

Cool drink Machine: The programming is done such that the Coin is inserted in the Machine

and the input is given once the input is given the Correct Cool drink Bottle is taken out from

the outlet.

Washing Machine Application: The Programming is done such that water is filled and once

the water is filled the clothes are washed away and automated water is drained

Semi Auto Drill Job: The programming is done which is useful in the Moulding industries to

drill a particular object according to the design and mould the object

B.E-Final Year Project:

Voice Controlled Mobility System with Artificial Intelligence for Motor Disabled Person

(Quadriplegic).

This process of voice operated wheel chair is done when a person sits on the wheelchair. He has

laptop with him. .net is used as a front end to send voice commands to the wheelchair i.e., left or

right or front or back. These voice commands are passed to the controller as instructions.

According to the program written for controller, controller will give instructions to the

wheelchair via relay. Here relay acts as a switching circuit. According to the relay operation

wheelchair will move in corresponding directions

Trained 140 students of ECE and EIE of Royal college and Technology for their Main and

Mini Projects

Won first prize in the final year project Voice operated power Wheel Chair in 2010
