Work Experience:

Jacobs Engineering Group - Deer Park, TX. (2012-Current) – Piping Designer III –

Responsible for the design of piping construction packages being issued as part of

complete IFC packages for over thirty-five various plant maintenance projects through-

out the Dow-Deer Park plant, Dow-Texas City Operations and Bayport Ethel-Oxide

Refineries. Worked on piping changes and modifications on projects ranging from

$300K to $2.5M. Up-keep of P&ID changes made to these projects and worked in

conjunction with the other discipline leads to issue packages in a timely manner. Used

design aid software such as PDMS and SmartPlant-3D to issue new construction

isometrics. Also used and assisted with the QuantaPoint and Prism software to use as a

3-D overlay on both design platforms. My direct supervisor was John Rodkey.

Draftec Partners - Deer Park, TX. (2010-Part-Time On-Going as needed) –

Independent Contractor/Design – Independent contractor detailing pipe spools for

various fabrication shops through-out the U.S. and Canada. Use of AutoCAD skills to

produce drawings for support details and piping components needed to be included

with these fabrication packages. Used AutoCAD and Acorn detailing software to draw

pipe spools and components. This is a part-time and as-needed weekend job. My direct

correspondent and work assignment contact is Ralph Madison.

SNC/Lavalin - Houston, TX. (2011 – 2012) – Internship 3-D Drafter and Designer – A 5-

month internship with SNC-Lavalin at the Exxon-Mobil Baytown Olefins plant. Used

AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to draft and detail components for steam cracking

furnaces. These details and drawings were used to modify and upgrade existing

components in current running plant assets. Modifications were needed to solve coking

issues in the furnaces. Went to work for Jacobs Engineering after completion of this

work process while also working at Draftec Partners.

Boccard Pipe Fabricators - Houston, TX. (2008 – 2011) – Pipe Drafter and Checker –

Drafted and detailed pipe spool sheets for in plant fabrication of piping. Used piping

isometrics to break down piping sections into sizes that could be shipped to the jobsite

for further assembly. Used AutoCAD and SpoolGEN software to issue piping spools.

Also was in charge of detailing various welded pipe supports (shoes, dummy legs, lifting

lugs etc.) to be sent to the shop for fabrication. Involved in the communication between

the shop and the engineering department and answered request for further information

by the fabrication leads to solve issues that arose during fabrication. My direct

supervisor was Teena Boren

Turner Industries, Inc. - Pasadena, TX. (2007 – 2008) – Pipe Drafter – Started my

career in the piping fabrication industry using AutoCAD to draw pipe spool sheets and

components for shop fabrication. Designed pipe spool sheets to customer piping

specifications. Designed and drafted pipe supports and various supporting components

to customer standards. Began my schooling with San Jacinto College during this time to

work my way toward a degree in Engineering and Design Graphics. This ultimately led

to an Associates of Applied Science Degree. Played a key role in the fabrication of pipe

spools for shipping to the various customer jobsites. My direct supervisor was Brian

Daigle.

My list of references is available upon request. Relocation and commuting is an open

option and would like to discuss. Currently live in Houston, TX but have family in

Oklahoma City. I am available for work.
