Cox Business Tech Support II 01-01-1998 to 03-29-2013

In Jan of 1998 I accepted a position with Cox Communications. Over the next 15 years I advanced through the ranks by learning each and every new product as it was brought on line. Cox digital telephone, Cox HDTV, and Cox high speed internet. As a dispatcher I was assigned anywhere from 15-25 technicians on a daily basis. I routed, assigned, dispatched and confirmed their daily assignments while activating equipment assigned to homes and businesses.

In January of 2004 I joined the Cox Business technical support team. In this, as in in all other fields of endeavor, I maintained a cohesive link between the outside business customers, the technicians in the field, the business services sales staff and other departments within the company.

Duties entailed assisting the business customers with various issues such as email problems, computer configurations, anti virus solutions, routing issues, telephony features such as voicemail and programming phone features. I also instructed customers on HDTV solutions, as well as general customer service issues and questions. I have a working knowledge of most windows programs as well as many different diagnostic tools.

Operations Manager Super Shuttle/Cloud 9 Shuttle 05-188 to 12-1997

I was responsible for scheduling a fleet of drivers, shift supervisors and dispatchers.

I was In charge of managing the overall daily operations of all personnel and operations.

I Developed a training program for new drivers and dispatchers.

Responsible for updating employees files via data entry.

Supervise and assisted in routing the next days business.

Studied one year of Criminal Justice at Miramar College

Studied one year of Telecommunications at San Diego City College
