Business and Sociology. I have over 20 years’ experience as Administrator/Executive Director with Skilled Nursing

Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and a Hospice Agency overseeing 2 offices. I am experienced in hiring and

AseraCare Hospice of Kansas City & Savannah 2012-2013

Kansas City, Missouri Executive Director of the Kansas City & Savannah, Missouri

Offices. Responsible for supervising and hiring of

staff, census development & marketing and financial

management, with all documentation computerized.

Responsible for effective use of all resources in

carrying out organization’s purpose. Responsible for

sales management of sales team and program administration

and knowledge of hospice standards and policies and

reimbursement practices.

Sunrise of Leawood Assisted Living Community 2011

Leawood, Kansas Executive Director of this 99 bed Assisted Living

Community. Responsibility included supervising

50 employees, census development, monthly

variance reports on financials, collections,

budgeting. Was also responsible for reviewing

the Care Plans and follow through with care for the

Assisted Living residents as well as the 38 higher

care level Reminiscence/Alzheimer’s residents.

James Webb Enterprises- Assisted Living 2003 to 2010

Cedars of Liberty Assisted Living Community Administrator of this 206 Bed Assisted Living

Community. Responsibility includes supervising 65

employees, census development, collections,

financials and budgeting. Reviewed care plans

. of all residents. Worked with Hospice

and Home Health to obtain services for residents.

Windemere Assisted Living Community While being Administrator of Cedars of Liberty, assisted

with daily operations of this 60 Bed Assisted

Living Community when the Manager was absent or

needed assistance, Manager was not a Licensed Nursing

Home Administrator. Assisted with census development for this

community as well as with Cedars of Liberty.

Missouri Veterans Skilled Nursing Home 2001 to 2003

Cameron, Missouri Administrator of this 200 Bed Skilled Nursing Community,

that included 50 Alzheimer’s residents. Responsibility included supervising 190 employees and increasing

census from 130 to 170. Also was in charge of working with

state employees who were in the labor union. Worked with

Hospice for care with terminal diagnosed patients.

Deaconess Long Term Care of Mo. 2000 to 2001

Park Place Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator of this 126 Bed SNF, Worked with Medicare,

Medicaid, Private Pay and Insurance Contracts. Increased

census from 75% to 90% occupancy, working with marketing director

and staff to be more effective with admissions.

Worked with Hospice and Home Health for patient’s needs.

Deerbrook Pavilion Skilled Nursing Center 1997 to 2000

Kansas City, Missouri Administrator of this 150 Bed SNF (Medicare, Private Pay,

Medicaid, DMH Contract). 30 Bed Alzheimers Unit.

Worked with insurance contracts - HMO, Nursing Home

Insurance, and other major insurance companies.

Increased census from 78% to 95% occupancy. Worked with

Hospice and Home Health to assist with patients’ needs.

Ownership changed and new Administration was brought

in. Was contacted by Deaconess LTC of Mo. to work

at Park Place Care Center as Administrator.

Deaconess Long Term Care of Mo.

Kansas City, Missouri 1992 to 1997

Senior Estates Skilled Nursing Center From 1995-1997, I was Administrator of this 107 Bed SNF,

Medicare, Medicaid and V.A. Approved. 22 Bed Alzheimers

Unit. DMH contract. Increased census from 65% to 90%.

Deficiency Free Div. of Aging Survey

in 1995, and only had 1 patient care deficiency

regarding privacy curtains in 1997. Worked with Hospice

and Home Health for patients who needed these services.

Was contacted by the owner of Deerbrook Pavilion and

offered the Administrator position at their 150 bed SNF.

ABC Skilled Nursing Center From 1993 to 1995, I was Administrator of this 60 Bed SNF,

Medicare and Medicaid approved. DMH Contract. Remained

at 95% occupancy or above. Deficiency Free Division of Aging

Survey in 1994. Worked with Hospice and Home Health to

assist with patients’ needs. Was moved to Senior Estates to

take on a larger Community as Administrator.

Cedar Valley Skilled Nursing Center For the year of 1993, I was an Administrator-in-Training.

Worked as Supervisor of the Social Services Department of

this 154 Bed SNF. Medicare and Medicaid approved. 24 Bed

Alzheimers Unit. Was responsible for marketing and for

increasing the census; was able to consistently keep the

census at 98% occupancy rate. Attended Corporate

Administrator meetings and received On-The-Job Training

from the Administrator. Was promoted to Administrator

of ABC Health Center.

Park Place Skilled Nursing Center From 1992 to 1993, I was an Administrator-In-Training.

Worked as the Social Services Director and Marketing Director

of this 126 Bed SNF. Worked with Medicare and Medicaid,

Insurance and V.A. Assistance. Was responsible for

increasing census; kept census at 98%. Was moved to Cedar

Valley Nursing Center to work with Administrator on census

development.
