small companies, including desktop, servers, software and mobile and made
recommendations about how to increase sales and improve service. During
this time, I also worked as an marketing consultant.
SWEET BASIL CARD COMPANY OPERATIONS - 2002-2004
Designed, manufactured and distributed jewelry and gift items nationally
through a network of museum stores. Managed a group of designers and
craftsmen creating high quality merchandise. Created marketing materials
for direct mail and distributions of small sales team. Developed a web site
for many similar manufacturers that was used to market through this same
channel.
ADVANCED LEGAL SYSTEMS DEPLOYMENT CONTRACTOR- 2003
Desktop and network support with a large law firm in Washington State.
Worked with a small team to deploy a network of 40 desktop computers, train
the staff on a new operating system, disassemble and move the network to a
new location. Redeploy and test the network with only one day of downtime.
TARGET CORPORATION COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR/CALL CENTER- 1995-2002
Created reports, presentations and corporate communications for executives
in the Financial Services Division. Consolidated written customer
communications for Mervyn's, Target and Department Store divisions. Worked
with Legal, Brand Marketing and Guest Relations team to create brand
friendly email templates for Target.com.
Created department training materials for MS Office Applications. Answered
calls and responded to emails from guests and answered letters on behalf of
senior executive staff.
