Cascade Skagit Health Alliance, Arlington, WA
Project consists of a new 41,980 square foot medical clinic and related
site improvements. Two floors complete including upgraded interiors. Areas
consist of Oncology, pharmacy, imaging, lab, urgent care and primary care.
Lobby, reception area, two (2) elevators, canopy. MRI machine with complete
copper RF shielding, x-ray machines, radiation protection, etc.

Complete construction of a new 45,195 square foot elementary school, 2-
stories. Construction type V-B with complete electrical and mechanical
systems. Fully sprinklered and site utility improvements as well as full
landscaping/irrigation. Wood framed, brick veneer, Hardi exterior.
Greenhouse, rain gardens, gym/stage, state of the art teaching devices,
commercial prevailing wages, federally funded, tight 10-month schedule.

Greenbridge Hope VI Blocks CV1 and CV4, Seattle, WA
106,000 SF, 88 affordable housing units with commercial tenants below in
(3) of the buildings. 15 buildings total, 2 blocks. I was lead estimator on
this competitive bid and now lead project manager. Project is 100%
complete. Total contract = $17,840,000. Profit came in at $1.9 million,
750,000 estimated. King County Housing Authority is the client.
Greenbridge Hope VI Block W12, Seattle, WA:
104,000 SF mixed use commercial and affordable housing units above building
A. Building A is 4 stories, 74 living units wood framed construction and
the tenants are 100% 55 years old or over and/or disabled people. I was
lead estimator and project manager. This was a competitive situation which
we won by 80,000. Job is just finishing up. Buildings B and C have 8 units
each designed for section 3 income. Main lobby, common areas, 2 elevators,
parking, etc. Total contract = $14,200,000. Profit of over 1.7 million
realized, $450,000 estimated. King County Housing Authority is the client.
Banner Bank, Federal Way, WA:
New ground up bank in Federal Way complete site work, upgraded finishes.
Job was complete December 2007. Wood framed on crawl space, brick veneer,
drive through, etc. Total contract = $2.1 million. Profit was doubled from
that of estimate. I did not estimate this project and did not "accept";
however, I outlined the errors and reported back to estimating.
Jim Wiley Community Center/CV3 Housing/Plaza, Seattle, WA
SW Seattle in White Center, WA. Existing Community Center completely
renovated including seismic upgrades. Separate building with (8) affordable
housing units and new Plaza including colored, sandblasted concrete,
aluminum banding, radius seat walls, etc. King County Housing Authority is
the client and the job was complete 2007. I was lead estimator and project
manager. ABC award + KCHA award. Job was completed on time and on budget.
Total contract = $6.4 million. A show place for the White Center community.
Lauren Heights, Issaquah, WA:
54 affordable housing units in the middle of a first class community. 9
buildings total including a community center, parking, Scored and colored
concrete, built green roofs on (2) carports. I was lead project manager.
Shelter Resources is the client. Total contract = $6.1 million. Completed
November 2007. I did not estimate this project, just lead project manager.
Hockessin Athletic Club, Hockessin, DE:
120,000 square feet of athletic facility complete design build. Parking
structure, massive site work package, upgraded finishes, (8) pools, glass
structure over (2) of the pools with retractable roof. Job cost totaled
21.5 million and this was time and material with 3.5% fee. I estimated the
project and was project manager and at about 20% complete, I moved to
Seattle, WA to be closer to family.
Atlantic Coast Athletic Clubs, Westchester, PA
40,000 square foot addition to an existing facility. Two stories where the
ground floor is daycare for children, classrooms, kid work out area +
complete locker facilities. Job included outdoor pool, slides and play
structures. This was design/build and I estimated and was lead project
manager. Job completed September 2005. This was time and material with 3%
overhead and 4.5% fee.
The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants, Washington D.C./Bethesda, MD/Baltimore,
MD
An average of 9,000 square feet with high end finishes. I estimated,
negotiated, managed and handled these jobs through to completion. In
Bethesda, I was superintendent as well and did my other work in the
mornings, nights or weekends. These projects were very intense since
schedule could not be an issue (even with many owner/design changes). I had
our team work 2-3 shifts. Many challenges, but finished on time and on
budget. The job in Bethesda was lump sum and we made 15% fee.
Euro Motorcars/Acura Dealership, Bethesda, MD
Three level post tension parking structure, one level below ground (service
center) + new Acura building. Job total was 8.2 million. I assisted in
estimating and project management; however, was not lead. I learned many
things over the course of this project.
Great American Restaurants, Sterling, VA/Merrifield, VA/Tysons Corner, VA
We had 6 different projects with this client and counting. High end
facilities including Sweetwater Tavern, Mike's American Grill, etc. (3) of
the projects were ground up including brewery and stores. They are
considered an excellent restaurant in Virginia. We received two awards from
ABC. I estimated and was project manager for (3) of the stores. Average
restaurant was approximately 4.5 million.
