3rd Battalion 144th Infantry U.S. Army - Shīndand - 2012 to 2013
As a member of the Texas Army National Guard, I supervised a 10 man maintenance section mobilized and
deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for the well being and upkeep
of all 69 vehicles of the Battalion, at a value over 27 million dollars. Assigned tasks, kept written records of
all work performed, ensured parts were ordered, scheduled daily maintenance activities and enforced safety
procedures. Countless other duties were performed to ensure that these vehicles were well maintained and
always mission ready.
Customer Network Support Engineer II,
Insight Global / Ericsson Telecommunications - Richardson, TX - September 2010 to May 2012
Provided first line technical support on CDMA / EVDO ACCESS issues (CBRS, CSVS, DOM, RNC, DO-EMS,
eBSC and BTS) for second tier customers, such as US Cellular, Cricket Communications and Metro PCS’s
EVDO network. Some of my duties were: Handling technical cases on a ticket system, while keeping track of
these issues during the resolution process. Proficient in network performance, capacity management, network
change, software upgrade, configuration and implementation. Interfaced with customer engineers and third
party vendors to resolve technical issues that appear during the integration of new software or equipment and
day to day operations.
Detention Officer in the Main Adult Jail,
Collin County Sheriff's Office - McKinney, TX - October 2008 to August 2010
Responsible for providing custodial care necessary for the security and well being of inmates confined in the
Collin County jail. Other duties included: preparing inmates for transport to court appearances, processing new
inmates, assisting victim's advocates, supervising inmate visitation, distributing food to inmates, conducting
security checks and handling control room operations.
After 18 months, I decided that this job was not for me and gave a 3 week notice before leaving. I left the
County in good standing.
Technical Support Engineer
Nortel Networks - Richardson, TX - November 2004 to August 2008
Provide first-level technical support for Nortel's wireless CDMA customers. This position required that I work
closely with both the customer and internal product-support groups to remotely resolve any and all customer
technical issues. My responsibilities include: interfacing with the customer's technical personnel, troubleshoot/
resolve technical issues remotely, open/track customer trouble tickets, answer technical inquiries from internal/
external sources, collect data, update case documentation based on activities, work on multiple technical cases
simultaneously, work in a team and participate in a rotational, on-call pager support.

Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09. Directly responsible for the maintenance and service of the
Company's fleet of 49 gun trucks worth over 15 million dollars. Added duties and responsibilities were: conduct
individual and crew training, supervise and develop junior NCO's and upgrade/ improve the Company's vehicle
fleet.
Sr. Field Service Technician
Nortel Networks - Richardson, TX - July 2001 to November 2004
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, deployment and integration of Nortel Network's CDMA
wireless equipment. This position requires conducting acceptance tests, interacting with the customer on site
readiness, equipment troubleshooting and obtaining Acceptance documents. Personally, I have deployed units
in over 14 different States working with: Alamosa PCS, Alltel, Cellular South, Sprint PCS, U.S. Cellular and
U.S. Unwired. As the Nortel in-charge Installer for a USCC deployment, I supervised 8 contractors as we
deployed, commissioned and integrated 86 cell sites in southern Oklahoma.

Started working in the CDMA Wireless Installation Department as an team member on a switch extension
team. My duties included: mounting cabinets, installing power cables, installing fiber cables, cable testing
and other general installation duties. Attended the Base Station Installation course ( 800 and 1900 MHz) and
promoted to the In-charge Installer for Sprint PCS's Dallas phase 1 deployment of Nortel's CDMA BTS (Metro
cell) who was responsible for all activities and work assignments of 14 contractors and 3 Nortel Installers. Sent
to Guatemala for 30 days to troubleshoot service and repair Telephone Guatemala's Wireless Network.
