Aricent LTE eNodeB framework provides L2, L3+, OAM, RRM and SON modules in a package that serves as a

robust reference platform for development of a complete LTE eNodeB solution. It provides complete L2 and L3

functionality, and exposes clear interfaces for TEMs to incorporate L1. L2 includes MAC, RLC, PDCP, eGTP-U and

Packet Relay. L3 includes RRC, S1AP, X2AP and SCTP. LTE eNodeB framework also packages UE Simulator and

traffic generators. MAC interfaces with L1 using FAPI compliant APIs, which helps customers to integrate different

L1s easily. LTE eNodeB framework is interoperated with third party Tier1/Tier2 EPCs and market leading test UEs.

Supported features are tested with LTE eNodeB framework and Aricent EPC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and execution of TTI Bundling, MeasGap, Cell Reconfig Procedure, HARQ, S1 and X2 Hand-

Over,Release 10, TR069, QoS (Quality of Service), and KPI feature of LTE eNodeB product.

Nokia Siemens Networks‘ Liquid Radio GSM software suite comprises of five features, all of which are the

company‘s innovations.

Features that compress the GSM traffic and reduce the number of traffic channels to transmit the same amount of

voice and data include Orthogonal Sub Channel (OSC), Dynamic Frequency and Channel Allocation (DFCA).The

new Flexible MCPA (Multi Carrier Power Amplifier) Tx power pooling feature effectively enables dynamic, rather

than static sharing of radio resources of GSM carriers, allocating the resources precisely and exactly where the usage

is. This reduces the output power needed for GSM, making it more efficient. In case of refarming, this frees more

capacity for 3G or 4G and combined with the other features, enables up to double the average 3G or 4G throughput.

• Call Testing of a Cell Site Voice Call i.e. mobile originated/ terminated call, SMS & data call (sending &
