Projects undertaken:

Project#3 "Design of an 8-bit CMOS Current-steering Digital-to-Analog

Converter"

Summary: a Unit-element current-steering architecture is used in this

project. The goal is to design an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter which

is supplied by 5V power and works at 50MHz or higher clock frequency. The

overall design includes four major parts- Eight identical registers to get

stable signals from digital inputs; row and column decoders to convert

binary signals to thermometer codes; a current cell array consisting of

16*16 current cells whose output currents are controlled by thermometer

codes; Op-amp stage to transform current difference in the current cell

array to analog output voltage.

Role: Test circuit design and Layout of different components of DAC is done

with Cadence.

Tool: CADENCE VIRTUOSO

Applications: cable MODEMs, wireless applications, cellular Phones/Base

stations, digital Audio-Video, industrial control systems, waveform

function generators, high frequency signals etc.

Project#2 "SAFETY CAR PARKING".

Summary: The designing of this project provide safety, sophisticated

parking space and also does billing action. The project use ATmega16

microcontroller and MATLAB. Designing a safety car parking system with a

user friendly by developing visual interpretation on this project using

VISUAL BASIC software.

Role: The overall circuit designing and testing as a team leader.

Applications: Apartments, Hospitals, Crowded region, Business sectors etc.

Project#1 "WIRELESS INTRACTIVE HOME".

Summary: The "WIRELESS INTRACTIVE HOME" project seeks to automate mans

routine work and to increase comfort and safety at homes by incorporating

atomization of Home processes with the aid of wireless technology. A Smart

home gives you remote or automatic control of this in and around the home.

A smart home integrates features like security safety, automation,

communication, information and entertainment.

Role: Design and develop the circuit with various components and PLC

programming.

Applications: Industries, Defence, Hospitals, Power supply stations,

organizations, Roads etc.
