1) Working with KALUWORKS LIMITED (CHANDARIA / COMCRAFT GROUP), Mombasa,

Kenya as Technical Manager (Head of Department) for Mechanical

(Maintenance and Projects) and General Stores from January, 2012 to Till

Date.

Kaluworks is the leading producer of Aluminium sheets, Coils, Painted

Coils, Roofing sheets, Circles and varieties of Aluminium Utensils.

Area of Responsibilities:

a) Melting Furnace upto 25 MT capacity and Holding Furnace upto 14 MT.

(AIF, India)

b) Twin Roll Continuous Caster. (FATA Hunter and Zhoushen)

c) 4 Hi Cold Rolling Mill. (FATA Hunter)

d) Slitters and Cut to Length.

e) Blanking Presses.

Area of Responsibilities: Cold Rolling Mill.

The Cold Rolling Mill is 4Hi Single Stand Non-Reversing Mill (Coil Width

upto 2100mm) supplied by Achenbach (Germany).

Responsibilities:

Project Coordinator and Mechanical Incharge for Cold Rolling Mill

. Technical Evaluation & supplier selection,

. Review of vendor drawings & documents,

. Kick - off Meeting coordination,

. Technical Contract preparation and sign-off,

. Coordinating with consultants & vendors,

. Review and preparation of drawings, piping plans,

. Freezing of Technical Specifications,

. Reviewing the Layout and Drawings,

. Co-ordination with the internal departments, Equipment

suppliers and Engineering Consultant,

. Planning and Execution of Erection and Commissioning of Equipments,

. Co-ordination with other agencies for smoothly unloading of

Equipments, shifting of Equipments, erection and commissioning of

Equipments.

4) Worked in BHUSHAN STEEL & STRIPS LIMITED, KHOPOLI, As Sr. Engineer in

Mechanical Maintenance Department from Feb. 2002 to July 2006. Have joined

this organization as Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Have worked for Erection, Commissioning and Maintenance of the above

mentioned areas. After Commissioning of the equipments I was the shift

Incharge. Planned the job and accordingly the manpower utilization.

Execution of preventive maintenance.

and Sheeting). I was also the individual incharge of erection and

commissioning of 14 nos. of E.O.T. Cranes from W. M. I. I was involved

in erection and commissioning of 2 nos. of 4Hi Reversing Cold Rolling

Mill,6Hi Reversing ColdRolling Mill (Flat Products Limited), 3Nos. of

CR Slitter from Esmesh Hollow Block and 1no. of Cut to Length from

Daewha (Korea).

Have suggested and implemented many modifications resulting in

minimizing Breakdown, Cost and Job Complications.

Had been Trained on industrial hydraulics by Rexroth Limited and

Training on Rolling Mill Bearing Selection and Maintenance by Timken

Limited.
