Spokane, Washington Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Registered Respiratory
Therapist. October 2012. Full time (40 hours).
Duties include: Major medical center serving the veteran community
all along Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Ventilatory care, non
invasive ventilatory care, weaning parameters, protocol management,
arterial blood gases, aerosolized medication administration, outpatient
procedures (pulmonary function tests, home oxygen, and CPAP clinic).

travel assignment through Cardiac Staffing. July 2012 September 30,
2012 (36 plus hours week)
Duties include: 28 bed unit (8 bed ICU) acute care/long term acute
care environment.
Use of all ventilator modalities and management, ABG's, RT protocols,
medication delivery, patient education, tracheostomy/ETT patients.

Children's Hospital, 3186 South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
June 2008-August 2012 (per diem, usually 24 plus hours week)
Duties include: 750 bed hospital in Southern Nevada. Responsible for
the delivery of
respiratory therapy modalities and respiratory assessments to patients
of all ages in all patient care areas such as ICU, neonatal, and
pediatric floors. Ventilator management and modalities, patient
education, medication delivery, tracheostomy care and management,
arterial blood gas, etc.
Respiratory Therapist, Marquis Care Plaza Regency, 6021 West Cheyenne,
Las Vegas, NV 89108, July 2008- June 2012 (Full Time: 36 hours)
Duties include: 200 bed Skilled nursing home facility setting.
Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and
respiratory assessments to patients
of all adult ages, disease processes, and conditions. Ventilator
management/modalities, written orders, computerized charting, patient
education, medication delivery, tracheostomy care and management in a
long term care facility.
