beta-carotene, Vitamin A, total dietary fiber and proximate parameters

of submitted food samples in accordance to ISO/IEC 17025

. Conducted research on the provision of food reference material and

proficiency testing on the participating local and international

testing laboratories

. Conducted laboratory analyses of the selected parameters that includes

homogeneity and stability tests of the chosen food reference material,

packing and sending of sample to participating laboratories; and

collation, tabulation and statistical evaluation of the proficiency

test results

. Assisted in the preparation of the accomplishment report and the

preparation of the journal article that has been published in 2010

entitled "Provision of proficiency test (PT) scheme on proximate and

mineral analyses: Philippine experience"

Pollution Control/Hazardous Wastes Management

. Provided methods on the treatment of hazardous industrial wastes like

used organic solvents, used oil and contaminated materials generated

by the client companies prior to proper disposal to the approved

facility and landfill

. Ensured safety transit of hazardous wastes from the generator's

premises to the treatment and disposal facility by providing

appropriate vehicle, proper signage, trained personnel and with proper

documentation and permits from the regulatory agency

. Modified the company's existing emergency and contingency plan in case

of spillage during transit of wastes, upon storage and during

treatment into a more safe condition
