Project Description: The purpose of this project is to implement a

firm-wide centralized solution that will ensure consistent and

continued compliance of TCPA for JPMC. In doing so it will also

safeguard JPMC's reputation and positively impact customer

experience. The centralized solution of this project will be

built around a central repository which in conjunction with other

impacted LOBs will play a pivotal role in capturing, managing, and

enforcing consent for customers' mobile numbers for the purpose of

auto-dialing, texting, and sending prerecorded message across

JPMC.

Project: TCS Access Automation

Project Description: The project was requested to control the

access to the Chase collection system (TCS) used by the

Collectors, who work for the Chase Auto Financing (CAF) business

area. Prior to this project, the application did not have a

mechanism to monitor or log the users who login to the

application. This project implemented an automated process to

capture the sign on timestamps of the application users and to

inactivate and subsequently terminate the access to the

application for the inactive users. As part of this project,

periodic reports are generated and are shared with the business

users and the recertification groups who govern access to all the

CAF applications.

This project aligned the application and Business with Compliance

and Technology Risk direction.

Project: Decomposition of Segregation

Project Description: To decompose and document a critical

application in the Settlement process called Segregation. The

system was decomposed into smaller units to prepare detailed

Technical and Functional analysis documents highlighting the

process flows, business rules, special scenarios, and its

interface and dependencies with its upstream and downstream

applications. Also an Inventory of Inbound, Outbound files to

downstream systems, external applications and vendors was

prepared.

This project enabled the business users to have a better insight

on the legacy, critical process of Segregation. It also triggered

a series of enhancements to the system resulted in cost benefit to

the customer and an improved efficiency of the system.

Project: CITI Obligation Warehouse

Project Description: Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC)

developed a system called Obligation Warehouse (OW) to provide an

automated service for the matching of fails and other Ex-clearing

obligations in real time as opposed to the prevailing system that

runs on quarterly basis. DTCC then mandated all the participants

to develop a system to communicate with OW to submit obligation

input to OW intra-day using Swift message format, also to receive

and process the responses from OW.

To conform to this mandate, Citigroup needed to develop an

application called CITI Obligation Warehouse (COW) that should

have the ability to interact with DTCC's OW real-time. COW also

stores and archives all its transactions with OW from Trade date

through actual settlement. COW also produces EOD Re-conciliation

reports for the users.

loading Conversion data of the securities that can be converted

from Bond to Equities or vice-versa into securities master

database by processing the daily feed file from the vendor via a

batch process.

This Project eliminated the need of manual updating of conversion

data of the Convertible securities by the Users via 3270 screens

and also ensured data accuracy.

Project Description: Section 312 of the USA PATRIOT Act requires

financial institutions, such as Introducing Broker-Dealers (IBDs)

to conduct due diligence and enhanced due diligence on

correspondent accounts established for Foreign Financial

Institutions and Private Banking Accounts for non-U. S. persons.

This project enabled BNYM and its Introducing Broker-Dealer (IBD)

clients to identify correspondent accounts established or

maintained for Foreign Financial Institutions and Private Banking

Accounts for non-U. S. persons during the account opening process.

Additionally, IBDs was also presented with daily and cumulative

monthly Reports on such accounts.

This facilitated the user's ability to satisfy the due diligence

and enhanced due diligence requirements under Section 312 of the

PATRIOT Act.

Supported Integration testing by coordinating with Front end,

the Primary Account holder and (and tax id on the account) the

BNYM was not providing an option of opening HSA accounts to their

clients before this project.

Project: Performance Tuning of Batch Job

Project Description: Pershing wanted to reduce the CPU usage of

high cost jobs across all the Applications. As part of this

initiative, a high cost job which had employed VSAM file technique

for processing an average of 50 million records was replaced with

an alternate approach by using internal tables. This approach

greatly reduced the CPU utilization by almost 80% resulted in

significant cost saving to the organization with no impact to the

end users.

Project Description: The Clearance Business Users needed an

automated mechanism to take in Deposit Withdrawal At Custodian

(DWAC) Instructions from our Introducing Broker-dealers (IBDs).

Our automated process receives the daily data from the IBDs,

processes the instructions, pass on to DTC (a member of US Federal

Reserve system for clearing and settlement) for clearing, provides

updates to the users on the status of transactions. This project

also provides users with the ability to view the status of the

transactions via online screens.

This project eliminated the manual updating of DWAC instructions

to DTC and greatly improved data accuracy.
