Over twenty years experience performing airframe structural repair in both a maintenance and production capacity on military, commercial, and business jet aircraft. Repair includes major assembly of wings and fuselage, and also sheet metal and machined detail parts. Knowledge of fastener substitutions, SED conditions, coatings/finishes, and materials was required. Initiated ECO's for repetitive conditions. Physically located on the production floor. Liaison Engineer: Southwest Airlines; Dallas, TX (Contract) (2009)

Resolved 737 airframe structural issues in a maintenance environment. Dispositioned airframe structures non-conformances which included sheetmetal or machined repairs or rework. These repairs were sent to Boeing/Seattle for co-signature. Took photos of discrepancy, then used MS Power Point to overlay repair before sending off to Boeing. Worked with maintenance personnel, back shops, and other engineering departments to resolve discrepancy in a timely manner with cost considerations.

Repair Assessment Consultant: UPS Air Group; Louisville, KY (Contract) (2008)

Lead Engineer responsible for reviewing DC-8, MD-11, and 757 cargo repairs in conjunction with FAA mandate to ascertain legitimacy of existing repairs with questionable tech support data. Questionable write-ups were forwarded to the FAA for review. The FAA would send directives to the field to view subject repairs for confirmation that work was performed correctly..
