ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Study of Brain Machine Interface (B.Tech)

A brain machine interface (BMI), often called as mind-machine interface is a direct communication

pathway between the brain and an external device. It involves modeling of human brain externaly.

Study of Mobile Visual Search Technology (M.Tech)

Here in this study we obtain properties of objects by using image recordings of a mobile device as a

visual fingerprint of the environment and matching them to a database.

Study of Mobile Location Recognition System (M.Tech)

Here in this study we obtain location identification by using video recordings of a mobile device as a

visual fingerprint of the environment and matching them to a geo referenced database provides pose

information in a very natural way.

Seismic Signal Processing (M.Tech)

Seismic Signal processing involves the separation of seismic sources from a mixture of signal

sources. Seismic source separation is gaining importance today, as we require separation techniques for

modeling a seismic activity and thus predicting the occurrence of seismic activity.

Reduction of Spectral Variations in EDFA Optical Amplifiers (M.Tech)

The thesis work aims in developing a novel method for reduction of spectral variations that occurs in

Erbium Doped Fiber amplifiers. The paper mainly focuses on Erbium doped optical amplifier and various

spectral variation problems affecting the amplifier

Safety and Security System (B.Tech)

The System boasts integrated GPS-GSM for accurate vehicle tracking and SMS based interface that

allows remote monitoring as well as control of the vehicle via mobile phones. Packed with innovative

features, this product is a class of its own, rugged, cheap and reliable meeting the tough automotive industry

standards.

Designed a simple Morse Code Transmitter (B.Tech)

Morse code is a type of character encoding that transmits telegraphic information. Morse code uses a

standardized sequence of short and long elements to represent the letters, numerals, punctuation and special

characters of a given message.
