Store Manager

Brought into management role through managers in previous position networking with

vendors to help secure a position in the western United States when there was not a

role available in current company.

Led team to open a new store location in Primm, NV by working with contractor to set

a timeline and coordinate punch list with corporate office. As a result, the store

opened on the expected date.

Coordinated with Merrell division’s apparel merchandising team to create a more

cohesive visual presentation story with the pieces for each season. With the location

showing a 15% growth and leading the company in apparel sales, the techniques were

set into place company wide to drive sales. In the past two quarters, sales are up

35%.

Oversaw location’s profit and loss statement to keep the store profitable by maintaining

inventory levels, payroll, and shrink. This location has the lowest shrink in the

company. Even with payroll constraints, the store continues to exceed sales goals and

lead the district in sales growth.

Set all apparel and footwear displays for a 39,000 square foot location in the heart of

Manhattan’s SoHo shopping district.

Fan Relations and Group Sales (September 2005 June 2008)

Created fan events for season ticket holders and multi game ticket buyers for road

games. This program is still in place with the relationship started with Commerce

Casino.

Developed a point system to reward fans for attending games as well as renewing

season tickets. With each game attended, ticket holders acquired a point. The points

were redeemed for prizes and memorabilia.

SOUTHLANDS CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS 1998 2007

Senior Counselor, Teacher, and Administrative Assistant

Taught computer proficiency classes to staff basic Windows and Microsoft Office as

well as school specific software such as Grade Quick.

Supervised summer school trip staff and students for third grade through eighth grade.

Total number was approximately 20 staff members and 100 students.

Assisted administration with all ad hoc projects including banquets, dances,
