• Evaluation of the HOPE VI Public Housing Program in DC: Participated in designing surveys for
the community supportive services programs, carried out the survey to collect views from the
Hope IV participants (a low Income Public Housing program) and analyzed the data
• Georgia Avenue Growth Study: An impact analysis study of the developments on Georgia Avenue
and the effect of Howard University on the surrounding community using IMPLAN
• Research on indicators for access to higher education and access to quality financial products
• Gentrification in Columbia Heights DC: Analysis of the indirect displacement effects of
gentrification in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. Study undertaken in collaboration with
Development Corporation for Columbia Heights. Study involved assessment of the changing
business environments and the perceptions of the new and old residents.
• Consultancy on racial wealth gaps for the state of Illinois: created financial instability maps using
ArcGIS in order to gain a better understanding of the wealth disparities that exist across the state
of Illinois
• Evaluation of the Deed and Recordation Tax for Washington DC, made a presentation to the DC
Task Revision Committee
