Experiences

Designed and simulated a controller that brings the rigid pendulum of a Gantry System into

upright position by using Robust Adaptive Control Method. Applied Lyapunov Theory to

form the adaptive law.

Built up a model in Matlab on HEV class to simulate the reason that electric vehicle can save

energy and by how much, we also get a further understanding of electric vehicle.

Designed and simulated a MEMS gas sensor of mercury detection. The output shows the

sensor can detect with just 400 ms and consume 8.9 mW of power with a response time of 2

ms.

Designed the structure and mechanics of an auto door for a coach during undergraduate period,

used CATIA to build up the 3D model and simulated the animation of the movement of the

door.

Activities

Help built a student charity group in Boston called ASAD( Any Student Any Dream) which

aims to raise funds to support underprivileged children in rural area in China by sponsoring

students’ lunch and tuition. We have collected about six thousands dollar so far and helped 38

students in four different elementary and middle schools.
